"I think i was a bad person before. Before this time. I do not try to be good now but i am not bad. Perhaps if i try harder i may get a better hand dealt next time? But surely that makes it pointless? Perhaps i am good. Just good at being pointless. But that would make me bad. Bad at having a point. Ah…. I see now. I was nothing before, I am nothing now. I am bad purely because im pointless. "

Here's my thoughts on the first 200 pages.....Don't read if you're not past 200 pages!

I'm trying to read slow. This seems to be the pace of the book, so I'm trying to follow suit. Unlike other books, where we got off to a running start.

Everyone in this thread who made deliberately mentioned that they received Toll The Hounds before Abyss. No one else who got it earlier has [linet]gloated[/linet] posted here. Although, Hetan and Mal should really be on the list anyway due to getting to read it so much earlier than everyone else.

What's your point Illy? :D

I HAVES MY PREEEECCCCCIIIIOOOOUUUUSSSSS!

And I'm 170 pages in, and think it's pretty good. Slow paced ... but you don't drink a fine wine too fast either, you know? Of course, I made the mistake of chugging down a bottle of cheap, strong wine while reading, and wound up falling asleep for a while, so I'll resume reading shortly ... with maybe a bit of re-reading, since I forgot those last thirty pages already.

I finished the book last night. Im not sure what to think. I feel bludgeoned. Perhaps a re read will help....
