...a mediocre Fringe episode. I hate Olivia's voice now that shes possessed, i don't understand why it changed unless its to distinguish that its not her. Still stupid though.

^^this. The Bellivia voice is like nails across a chalkboard to me. Really distracting.

Kind of deliberate tho', and to give Anna Torv credit, she's pulling it off nicely. Between Bellivia and Fauxlivia i've been impressed with her acting this season.

Glad they worked in Agent Lincoln, and the black van.

I'm missing a reference there?

I was surprised somehow Bell didn't wind up in Caprica lady's body, or one of her victims. I kinda thought that's where they were going with it.

I thought so too but apparenly not.

The scene with Walter and Bellivia brushing Jeanne while discussing science was hysterical.

Right now I am wondering if our Olivia is going to bite it and the other Olivia flee over here with peters baby. I really hope not as thst will be a little to much general hospital for me. But interesting things are happening.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

Yes, Agent Lincoln was the bespectacled agent from the Hartford FBI office. In the Redniverse he's Fauxlivia's partner, whose (non-bespectacled) face got messed up, then repaired with nanites.

The black van, which in the Redniverse is the Fringe team's van, was briefly shown (with FBI logo instead of DOD) in the parking lot of the Hartford office.
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

I think what we're going to find out is that the Device is actually just a great big Merge All Changes Into One Document Universe button. Once it's set off, there won't be Olivia vs. Fauxlivia, there will just be one Olivia, who's with Peter and their kid. And just one happy Grandpa Walter.

You think they'd go the universal reboot route?

I dunno... i'm expecting some sort of final close of the breach between worlds, with Peter having to choose one or the other with finality.

Of course, i'm also holding out hope for next season to be all about a Counsel of Walters from various worlds causing trouble behind the scenes.

That or renegade Observers.

I'm pretty sure it's what the Device is for. Whether it's actually used to create the Purpleverse, I dunno.

That said, a final sealing-off of the universes probably dooms both, as both universes are now officially degrading. The only way to save anything from either may be to merge them together. But who knows. The Observers may know another way. Or Peter figures something else out.

Fringe renewed for a full fourth season :)
"But I saw you [Snake]…faced by Anomander [Mandy] himself. How did…"
"I escape? Well, I dazzled him with fancy words, edging ever closer, then used my ninja skills to strike like a cobra, knocking the sword [Spamnipur] away and drop-kicking him over the side before tumbling backwards, slaying another Piss'd Andii on the way."
Silence. Lots of silence. "Fine!" He shrugged and grinned, "Someone hit him in the face with a coin, and he cursed just long enough for me to get away." ~ Excerpt from Gardens of the Tea Spoon

Woot!

Red v Blue for another season! Fox finally made a good decision concerning a sci-fi show.

The latest ep was pretty good, how they tied it into one of the early Season 1 eps with the pregnancy acceleration. John Noble plays Walternate so subtly eeeeeeevil.

Wonder what the Observer meant by "It has begun."

Now 3 weeks till the next ep... :) :) :)

Noble is an acting god and while i suspected he was behind the baby plot, damn they pulled it off nicely.

Also, Lincoln is a complete asshat for that last minute declaration ffs.

Great ep.

I figure the Observer means that the chain of events leading to Peter having to choose one universe or the other has started.

Three weeks to the next ep or three eps left to the end of season? Or both?

Three weeks till Fox shows the next ep. I don't know how many eps are left in the season, only that it's not enough.

And yeah, Lincoln is a total dipshit. If you thought Fauxlivia was dying, you could have, you know, tried CPR. Sheez...

...And the Bellivia arc concludes.

Have to say, did not much care for that ep. The whole cartoon thing was just too WTF. (I'm guessing they did it as some kind of workaround of Leonard Nimoy's age/physical limits, but it felt so out of place I just couldn't get into the episode.)

The best moment though was Astrid calling Walter "Wally" and his reaction.

EDIT - and Broyles on acid was hilarious too.

The inception rip-off was utterly too blatant to work and the cartoon thing seemed unnecessarily hammered in and never explained.

Broyles on acid SAVED that episode.
That and the last ten seconds.

The latest ep was OK, kinda dragged for me. I didn't like the whole generations-of-Sam-Weiss explanation, but whatever.

Points for including "Riders on the Storm" - my favorite Doors song.

As usual, my predictions turn out to be wrong. Not sure what I think about the machine sending Peter forward in time.

Next ep does look pretty kickass from the preview.

I get that it was all set-up for the finale, but this was a REALLY weak ep.

Nice set-up with the lightning storms, but then it draaaaaaaaaaaaaagged.

And to much coming out of nowhere or going nowhere or just making no sense even for this show.

Olivia's an acknowledged 'telekinetic' suddenly?
Wtf with Peter thinking he was in the Redniverse?
did Walter and Asteroid actually accomplish anything?
How, i say, HOW THE FUCK, did they move the Machine to Staten Island if it had an impenetrable forcefield around it???

...Peter's flashforward was the only high point, nice touch how they made it clear he was still in the Blueniverse but ten years later.

Having a guaranteed renewal for next year does not mean they get to slack off. I expect WAY better in the finale.
