Don't be silly. It's obvious that Olivia is a mutant, Walternate is a Cylon, Astrid is a V, Peter was replaced by the First Wave, Broyles is working for the Shadows and Freaky-Robot-Arm-Lady was spawned by Daleks making sex with Black Oil Aliens.

- Abyss, bets the whole thing is just a dream.

Just finished watching the finale of Season 2 and HOLY SHIT! This is the best show on television. Of course, Justified and Breaking Bad are a close second and third. Can't believe we have to wait 4 months at least to see what happens next...Posted Image I guess since this just aired on the eastern time zone, I won't go into details and spoil anything. Will check back later for thoughts.

Very anti-climactic. I mean come on, who didn't see that ending coming a mile away. This show's okay, justified's pretty good, but both of them are light years away from being as good as breaking bad.

Finale was mostly good watching.

I solved the anagram on Walternate's blackboard in like a minute. w00t!

But, the whole
Spoiler
was dumb. How could she have known about the grenades? Slight continuity error, I think.
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

It was painfully obvious they were going with the Olivia-switch - JJ has pulled that one on before (Alias, Lost...). Olivia's declaration of lurv for Peter wasn't her bestest acting moment ever but it worked and say what one will about Anna Torv she played both Olivii as nicely different but the same. The Olivia v Olivia fight was excellent.

It was really fun to see Nimoy cut loose (as much as a 75ish guy ever does). And how John Nobel doesn't win an Emmy for playing those two roles continues the vex me.

Aside re pt 1 - Walter's 'X-Men' got painfully short shrift. I realize they couldn't keep them in without becoming 'HEROES' but even so a little more cortexiphan spawned mojo would have been cool before offing them all.

Back to pt 2...
Nice touch number 1 - the Quarantine slime is the same goo we saw fill a bus in S1 ep 2 or so.

Nice touch number 2 - the Red Arrow/Red Lantern comic cover in the background at one point.

I enjoyed it, i'm looking fwd to seeing what they do next season. Where the fnck did Walternate find a Peter-specific interdimensional obliviator power source???

- Abyss, very relieved to see Jean was still active behind the scenes.

I believe it was mentioned by Walter (not -nate) that it looked like William Bell's design in pt 1.

EDIT - nope, just checked fringepedia, and it was actually Nina Sharp who recognized it as Bell's design.

SEASON 3!!!!!!!

And on the long list of fringefucked things i thought Walternate was going to do to Olivia, THAT wasn't on it.

Not the best ep ever but a solid re-intro.

- Abyss, wants to see that production of 'Dogs'...

Yeah, wasn't bowled over by this ep, because it highlighed the real weakness of the show (Anna Torv) and had none of what makes it great (John Noble as Original Walter). Still things are taking an interesting turn. And I do like how Walternate is so buttoned-down as compared to the more over-the-top Original. Finally, love that the show has adopted fan lexicon - "Walternate" ftw.

I wanted to call him Alter-Walter but it didn't catch on. :)

I do like 'NOlivia' tho. As for Torv, she didn't do a bad job of portraying Olivia and Nolivia differently at the end of last season so i'm curious to see how she does now.

And John Noble owns this show.

I am finally caught up and..... This season is just sweetness squared. I think that torv is doing a great job of switching between the too.

Last night was just great. Walter now has access to all of the toys he could ever want... Fantastic
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

Latest ep was good with the human supercomputer. Whoever that actor was did a great job, though the facial hair was a bit too Ethan Hawke. Also interesting that Olivia is having Caprica Six Walter and Peter appear in her consciousness.

I also love how messed-up alter-Earth is, with flashing auburn diamonds and whatnot.

Latest ep was greatness. John Noble left visible bite marks in the scenery.

The human supercomputer ep in the alter-verse was excellent. I really realy liked how the last chase played out. VERY clever writing that.

The more recent shapeshifter ep was also great. This show is really hitting its sf stride this season.

Wasn't sure they'd pull off the two-universes storylines but they're doing a really good job of it.

Asteroid finally had a moment of awesome this ep, and i liked how evil broadcast guy turned out to be a shifter, altho that's like the third time NOlivia's had to execute one of them, isn't it.

Points for Torv upping her game this season - the bit where NOlivia almost panics because she has to fake Olivia's photographic memory was a really nice touch.

This is pure speculation but... SPOILERS SPOILERS
LAST EP AND POSSIBLE FUTURE EP SPOILERS
SPOILERS WILL SHAPESHIFT AND STEAL YOUR SPOILERS MEMORY SPOILERS
SPOILERS

...if the Numbers Stations go back to the 40s or whatever, doesn't this mean Walternate's been sending people to the 'first' universe since at least then? Hence, the current mess the alt-universe is in is probably Walternate's fault, not Walter's.

Am loving this season. I know another season isn't a lock yet but damn i'll be disappointed if this doesn't keep going.

Amazing episode!

SPOILERS!

I'm guessing Seamus Whiles (spelling?) is Sam Weiss, "I'm older than I look"

The number of locations, 37, was also how many events in the pattern there was. The locations seem to coincide with the quarantines on the other side.
