Arsenal have dropped Nasri for some reason, and Im predicting a 1-1 draw with Arsenal scraping an equaliser in the last 10 mins.

Double Post, but it looks like Liverpool managed a great escape today - from 2-0 down to win 3-2. I'm hoping Newcastle will be able to do something similar - they've been two goals down in their last 5 matches, so they've had plenty of practice!

Another win for the Tigers and it's up to third now.... Looking forward to seeing Geovanni's free kick on MOTD2 tonight - though sounds as if we wer fortunate to hokd off Spurs for over 80 minutes. Next up it's the Hammers at the KC in 2 weeks so I am hoping that a week off will not affect us too much

Apparently we managed to hit the woodwork 3 or 4 times, and one of the hull players made an excellent tackle in the box, so I'm shocked Rob Styles didn't give us a penalty.

What are our predictions for the upcoming internationals? EDIT: I'm going to stick my neck (and groin) out and say two England wins. I would comment on the other European fixtures but I've decided to be majorly lazy and not to check the fixtures lists online.

So the big four are now the top four again... anyone see that changing for the rest of the reason? Me neither, unless Hull keep it up (I still feel wrong saying that, it won't last unfortunately).
Anyway, watching Match of the Day at the moment, some seriously good goals this week, especially from zaki and beletti!

Yeah, I don't see the top four changing now, maybe for a week or two if us or Arsenal slip up in the next couple but not longer than that.

Liverpool have a nice line in comebacks but I can't see them getting anything off Chelsea next time out.


Also, where has this Rooney been for the last year or two?

I think the likes of Aston Villa and Man City still have what it takes to push for a Champion's League spot - but it is a little depressing that the big 4 are all right up there once again.

I don't see City being near it this season. If they strengthen in January and aren't too far off the pace by then they might sneak a UEFA spot, but now their defence is too weak and their attack too lacking depth to be up there, for me, let alone the CL spots.

Villa and Pompey are the teams I see coming closest, but I just think the big 4 have made too good a start to the season for there to be any chance. Arsenal look the shakiest but for the most part they're still getting results.

It might be that my perception is slightly clouded by the few games I've seen - I caught City's 6-0 thrashing of Pompey and what I saw made me think they'd be a real handful, provided they can keep up that level of play. Ireland was everywhere, Jo and Robinho were a constant threat, and SWP was menacing down the left. I suppose you're right in that their defence isn't the best and will be given a stern examination by the better teams, but there are lots of goals for them going forwards.

On recent form, I wouldn't put Pompey up there with Villa - their defence seems somewhat erratic. Sometimes it is brilliant (Campbell apparently put in a blinder today), and sometimes it is atrocious (see the above 6-0 trouncing). In Defoe and Crouch they have a better strike force than last year, so I suppose they're more likely to put the ball in the net, but they'll just have to pray that their defenders chose the right times to play at their best.

I like Villa - they've got a decent defence, and some exciting talent going forward, which I think will come into its own this season...it'd better, I have Agbonlahor in my Fantasy team .

No doubt ManCity need a better defence... and they will buy one in January I imagine. Dunne will regret not taking Spurs' offer for a move in the summer...

I also think that their attack will find problems when faced with sterner opposition - I don't think the 6-0 is representative of their ability week-to-week. They might spank Newcastle, say, but the likes of Stoke and Bolton will give them problems.

Another week and another win for Tigers - 8 games and 17 points - which equals Blackburn's start in 92-93 which ws the best ever for a team promoted from the playoffs. It gets better and better. And why not put Michael Turener in Capello's next England squad. Roll on MOTD2

Bubble has to burst soon, especially with Chelski and ManU at the end of the month in consecutive games but I am going to make the most of it while we are doing so well.
