Run the Dresden game starting next week Obdi. Pppplllleeeeaaaaaassssseeeeeee? Pppppppprrrrrreeeeeetttttttttyyyyyyy ppppplllllllleeeeeaaaaaasssssseeeeee? With the sugar on top? And maybe even a Mafia cherry like Apt?
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Morg, if you balance, I'll help Mod. It's a fun idea. I'd rather play it, but I'd rather we all have the chance at playing it more.

haha, well since you're like 60 I guess you'll remember the original movies quite well ;)

I'll try to do the balance, but I'll need someone else to look at it with fresh eyes. I think the idea can turn out really neat, but it'll need a lot of polish. If you'd rather play I'm sure I can find someone else :p

aparently my game is approaching.
I'll need a week to tweak it and get my mobile set up as a modem for my laptopn, and secure a suitable lurking hole at work to check in on things.
possibly a gmt day time mod.
make that probably.
make that most likely

No, I still need a mod in the euro/asia area that has read teh books to co-mod with me.

I also am going to be extremely busy next week, and so will not be playing whatever game starts.

After that... well I should be able to play.

I am hoping for 25+ players, but it dosen't seem we have that at the moment.

Sad face. I'm so looking forward to Dresden.

Gonna cross out ones that for sure can't be run just yet

next games on list said:

Mafia X: Alan Campbell's Cohl's Shades theme <> Lisheo (GMT) and Morgoth (GMT+2)
Mafia X: Generic mafia theme, Macros-style set-up <> Macros (GMT evenings), Bent (GMT-5) <> TMDI <5,
Mafia X: Dresden files themed <> Obdigore <> TMDI 10+
Mafia X: Lord of the Rings themed game <> Great Lord D (GMT), looking for American and Aus/NZ co-mods <> (asked to be moved to the next fall season)
Mafia X: Twilight-themed <> D'rek(EST) & Shinrei(Japan) <> TMDI 9/10+

So Macros needs a week for his generic one, Obdi needs a co-mod and some time for Dresden, I need more time for Twilight (wanna go over it with Shin some more for balancing) and likewise with obdi need a lot of players too.

Any word on Lish/Morg's availability to do Cohl's shades?

Haven't heard from Great Lord D in a while and he wants LotR in the fall season anyways.

next block said:

Mafia X: Kill Bill <> Peanutbutta <> TMDI 6-8 <> 18+ players
Mafia X: Alliance-based merc game <> Sir Thursday (GMT) and Tapper (CET) <> TMDI 7
Mafia X: Matrix-themed <> Gem Windcaster <> TMDI 5,
Mafia X: Blazing Saddles themed M&P <> Bwgan (GMT) <> TMDI 1-2
Mafia X: "Star Trek a la Saboteurs" <> General King & Grief <> 12-15 players
Mafia X: King Arthur Merc mini <> Bwgan(GMT) <> 16 players
Mafia X: Supernatural <> Impirion <> low TMDI

If any of these are ready one of them could run. Or there's the shelved games:

shelved games said:

Mafia X: Illiad-themed game <> Stalker(GMT-5) & Tapper
Mafia X: Macros (GMT +0) / TMDI: 2 - 4 / Battlestar-Galactica theme /
Mafia X: J_slr (GMT +2:00) /TMDI 8 (Warhammer 40k)
Mafia X.5 -Bubba (GMT-5-7?) - Uncle Ben's revenge/ TMDI 2.
Mafia X: q21, TMDI 6, 16 players.
Mafia X: Mentalist's "choose your objective" merc game
Mafia X: Alt146(GMT+2) a mini, either regular or a mini cult game
Mafia X: Vorkosigan theme <> Kurt Montadon (PST) <> TMDI 9-10

Or something that's not on the list that can be scrounged up quickly (I could so totally spend tomorrow making up a Hu Lao Gate game and have it ready for Monday if we got nothing else).

I doubt PB wants to run another game after doing the bulk of the modding in my last game. D:

I haven't seen ST around mafia-wise in a while, so I'm unsure if he and Tapper are ready. That's a distinct possibility.

Same thing with Gem.

Impirion might be able to run his game (he didn't get to play in the last one either, though, so...)

I guess I can half-assed run a M&P game.

TMDI 1-2. Actual 1-2. (NO HEALING CATAPULTS, D'REK! :ermm:).
Monster Hunter World Iceborne: It's like hunting monsters, but on crack, but the monsters are also on crack.

Kill Bill is ready. But I need 18+ players so if we can manage that I'm down to run it after Obdi's.

I'm here. I would need a couple of days and someone to help me balance the game in Dev - haven't made a non-crazy TMDI game before, so the balancing will be the issue. But is there actually people around to play games at this time?

This is pretty much the same sentiment for my Cowboy Bebop game. Now that I am back, it is RTG whenever, as long as there are enough people (18+).

Sorry I've been studying quite a bit.

The LOTR game me, goe are the initial mods but we would need at least another mod with a decent time difference to help out. LOTR is 22-25 player game. There is a 50 player game that me and goe went insane to make up and hopefully that will not see the light of day. The cut down version is enough chaos lol.

There the star trek game, grief I think may help co-mod, and I think we need to do a few changes so that the guys who were involved in the failed modcraft version don't have a total advantage. I think we can handle that game by ourselves. That would be a 12-15 man game. September may be the best time for me to run that.

We haven't talked it over much, still WIP.

Mafiawise, I'm in a lot of Work (Spycraft, Illiad, STDs game, My Little Pony/Carebears with Venge, although he doesn't know about it yet) and not in a lot of Progress (Spycraft, Battle Royale).

Battle Royale, which is going to be awesome, is ready to be run whenever Shin and HD (and me) have the time to mod it, and is going to be magnificent. Did I already mention it will be fantastic?
Spycraft will either rock your socks off or be the biggest failure to entertain ever, but PB and I are working hard on making the first a fact.

Please add My Little Pony (with or without Carebears) to the Mafia game list.
Kudos for the idea to mrs. Vengeance.
