Ok, vague question time:
Faction game. 4 or 5 factions. One having a recruit. What are some loose ratio guidelines?

Depends on the number of players, really, and the VCs.
If you work with 'faction 1 wins if faction 2 & 3 are eliminated' in a rotation, it's different from last faction standing.
I'd say a handy guideline would be 4 players per faction plus a recruiter who is a faction by himself, but that might be underpowered in high power settings (especially if you work with recruit proofs), and an eye is required to who knows whom in each faction.

The next chapter of Sengoku is done. I dialed back the complication (although it is still high TMDI due to some never-before-seen abilities) and it can adjust to any number of players, considering the wild fluctuations in numbers we've had recently.
I will post a setup page after this game is done, so people like Macros etc., can decide if they want to play. There is a lot of potential personal glory to be seized in this one.

Oh, and I am NOT claiming next game. This string of low TMDI has been pretty entertaining. I just thought I'd post the setup since a many people have become rather picky about which games they join.

Can I claim a spot after D'rek (and a low TMDI to cool down with) for my next game? It's been on the list since december 2013 so I guess I'm somewhere close to the front of the queue, for it, anyway.

Just want to put this out there, I'm postponing my Way of Kings 2 game indefinitely, because modding a large game doesn't seem reasonable for me for a while. On the other hand, I do have a small (10 player, TMDI 1) game that I can run if there's a cooldown game needed between high tmdi games whenever.

I've already got Dresden 4 planned, I'd like to run it in the March/April/May range in 2015.
It will be a 2 faction with some independents game, but will have some pretty involved and crazy mechanics, once again pushing it up over TMDI 10. (No locations in this one)
Titled 'The Clash of the Fey Courts'.

I suspect we will really want a low TMDI after Dresden given how things look to be going so far, so Tapper/Azath, feel free to fight it out over who wants to run their low TMDI in there. If back-to-school season doesn't cause a big drop in active players in September, I would still like to run Espers 2 afterwards, I think.
I approve of running the game after the Skin Game paperback is released but before the next hardcover is released
I feel like this a lot... even just with Espers 2 every time I think I'm 99% done I realize something new I've missed and that I'm only 90% done or so. I think I originally had projected spring 2013 for it? Hahahaha. 32000 words later and counting...

The game that Macros and Vengeance are helping design might be ready in 6-8 weeks. There's still at least one major mechanism re-think and the always present balancing issues.
Highish TMDI faction game with normal roles including RIs.

I've begun working on Legend of Korra 2.0. It's still a few weeks away, at least, from being done, but I'm thinking in the winter sometime I'll have it ready to go!
