Just to help the people wandering into this thread confused or new to the forums. One of the souls that Quick Ben got from the trip through Raraku was the soul of a Soletaken Priestess.

To make it even more interesting, the crazy theory that Quick might have more than one soletaken form has been put forth. Perhaps Quick was himself soletaken. Perhaps more souls than the priestess had a soletaken form.

Crazy theories abound.

Since Malaclypse forgot to mention it, Erikson has refuted the idea that Quicks form is a snake. IT... IS... NOT... A... SNAKE! (... it's a snake) :D

I think it could be anything and I can't really settle on anything that feels right.

I don't think his form is draconean. Wouldn't he had used it by now? No matter how reluctant to show his strength he has been in the past, he's been in enough scraps that he would have had to use it at some time. Of course on the other hand, Quick is all about control and if Ruin and Rake would hesitate to use a draconean form, Quick would certainly be very reluctant use the power and potentially lose himself in the veering of the soletaken Eleint.

How come snake was taken out of the poll? He is commonly described as a serpent right? :D (jk dont strike me down.)

I figured it has to be something special...it would be to anti climatic for it to end up being a donkey or something...

Apt said if it was something powerful like a dragon he would have used it by now.

Or like he said maybe he cannot control a draconic form as well as the ascendants

QB has been all about hiding his true power, and I think his soletaken form falls right in along with this... the whole reason he hasn’t used it is that it would draw to much attention. (imo)

If it was a mundane simple form there would have been nothing stopping him from using it all these years. There would be no real reason to hide it all these years. (Even hedge didn’t know exactly what the form was or if there was even one)

Many people have speculated that QB has a wolf soletaken form, at one point Onrack says "one day you must become the wolf" and QB responds to the extent of "perhaps I already am".

D'ivers Enkar'al. This was my Idea from last poll and I'm sticking with it. We already have a wolf D'ivers, so I'm reluctant to choose that. Enk'ar'als are native to 7C. it makes perfect sense.

I think wolf. His sister said something like, 'I saw a wolf, the sweetest wolf ever', when he rescued her from Poleil. And when he was a child, his form was always a wolf doll. Maybe if he is a soletaken wolf it is because he is secretly the magi of the wolf gods?
