Finished Jeremy Adam's Flash run and thought it was very good.
I also finished Hama's latest GI Joe Real American hero. I liked it a lot. I'm also wokring my way through his origianl Marvel run omnibus. Liking it so far.
Read the latest couple of issues of Ultramega by James Harren. Love this, especially the art.
Been chipping away at Doctor Strange starting from the beginning on and off for a while now. I'm in Stan Lee territory now. It's a bit dated, but overall it holds up and I am really enjoying it. Going to to continue my F4 read through. I'm only in the teens now.
Always wanted to read Kirby's Fourth World. Comixology has all 4 volumnes for $1.99 each. Couldn't resist. Last night I started Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen, which I heard was the weakest entry, and so far I love iit. I was expecting to have to push my way through this. But I couldn't stop reading. This went places I did not expect. Love the world-building. -

Couple of recent Hellboy's I haven't gotten to. Just finished Bones of Giants, and it was excellent. Now I am reading The Silver Lantern Club. It's good so far. -

BPRD is really great once it gets going.
My fave stories of all the Mignola stuff, Hellboy included is the BPRD: 1946-1948 Omnibus. It's without a doubt the most riveted I've ever been to Hellboy-adjacent material. I think it's the mix of WWII stuff, mostly prof. Broom, and the fledgling BPRD that really makes it sing. Feels like you're reading a textbook on the supernatural.
And I agree about Abe. He's a better leader than HB proper to be honest. He's so methodical, it's like following Sherlock Holmes around, if he were a fishman.
Totally agree. The whole thing is so epic. It's one of the best comics I've ever read. -

I've still been chipping away at Hellboy and just finished THE THIRD WISH and THE ISLAND. I am just absolutely blown away by how good these are. Like, I always enjoyed the movies but the graphic novel is just on a whole other level. I'm really happy I sprung for the Omnibus Box Set. This absolutely deserves shelf space.
Agreed. HB and BPRD are top-shelf comics. -

So you know how every once in awhile you'll see a work get a ton of praise but for some reason decide not to pick it up for years and then when you do you have to acknowledge everyone was totally right and feel like an idiot?
On a completely unrelated note, I started HELLBOY last night and suspect I'm going to be binging the full run.
As Abyss and I mention above, BPRD is a must read too.
