Yeah, they made the wrong call to treat it like a normal game. Fly 15 hours, stay at the hotel, play a game the next day, fly home.
Obviously I’m doing the week 1 overreaction haha and don’t think this play is indicative of the rest of the season playing in the US. Still a baffling choice when the 49ers had a week to acclimate. -

Also why does football have to be in Australia? I’m sure that has to be part of why Stafford sucked. My tough choice was between Stafford and Purdy, and I picked the old guy based on last year’s performance and strong offense (non-existent last night). Wrong choice in week 1. -
