    I'm with BK and QT.

    Maverick looks EXCELLENT.

And the trailer doesn't give away half the film, which is always nice.

Read Mark Lawrence's One Word Kill and was not really impressed. Seemed like a weird attempt to inject time travel into Stranger Things.

Also read Daniel Polansky's Those Above and its absolutely brilliant. Far better than the Low Town books.

I liked his low town books as well tbh, think the sequel to Those Above suffers from some of the same issues though.

Anyone read Kings of the Wyld - Nicholas Eames?

Friend just gave it to me to try after he loved it.

Going to back up JPK here, its a really great fun read.

And I think the sequel is even better.

Seconding this, really entertaining light read, and enjoyed the sequel as well.

I don't think this trailer looks bad at all. I also don't see why this film is necessary.

Why do they continue to try and make a sci-fi horror film into an action summer blockbuster movie?

Also, I think the terminators lose some of their awe and horror when they're too well designed. The body horror element and the psychological WTF element is lost.

I still think the idea you had a couple years back works better.

Whole thing is just a horror movie with a seemingly unstoppable/supernatural killer.

Eventually they kill it, police report states its a robot. Gets broadcast on the news and a scene similar to the end of Split happens, but with Linda Hamilton reacting.
