So how much is it to fly coast-to-coast in the USA anyway? I've heard it's quite cheap.

I have by far the best location. Sunny Southern Cali, oh and the multitudes of hot single women running around in BIKINIS.
I can't say I'll make this meet-up, but I'll definitely look into the possibility.
The Rockies would be nice next year, sort of like "half way" for all of us.
Damn, but this country is huge.
Ah yes, I've no plans on leaving good 'ol Clearwater Beach ANYTIME soon...But no go for me in Aug, got a fresh semester starting (and it's time to hit the books hard! No more partying for a while).
Highly recommend Florida for a get together in the future though, sun, women, awesome night-life and the glorious beaches...leave the kids at home though ( or send them to Disney or something ).

So last night I was walking downtown for some pizza at like 1am with some friends of mine,
and someone said, "I'm so hungry I could eat a whole pizza."
I said, "I bet I could eat 100 pizzas," and no one understood me. I was sad.

Its not bad. Like 300 from MPLS to Maryland.... I don't think its much more than that to go from like Cali to Florida... it really all depends on which company you take, where you fly out of, and where you fly too. If you try to find a deal, its not hard.

As long as you book at least 3 weeks in advance you can find a good deal from state to state. Believe it or not, the Priceline name-your-own-price works amazingly well (so long as you keep the price in the rhealm of reasonable), the only drawback is that you have to commit before you name your price...but who cares if you get the price you want anyways right?!?

The first time I flew roundtrip from Atlanta to San Diego I got a ticket for 200 bucks...so you just have to buy in advance.

I just had to pay over 350 to fly from seattle to ohio. My wife, who left on the same day as me but is not returning for another week, paid 200 for her ticket, for no real reason other than that's the way it was.

Because the flight you were coming back on was nearly full, so they charge more. The one she is coming back on, a week later, isn't so they cannot charge as much.

It's generally better not to make it so obvious when you stalk someone

He was talking about your comments about the amount of people on my flight, implying that you weren't just making an educated guess based on the price, but were actually physically watching me and saw how many people were on the plane. At least that's what I think he meant.

Oh.
Well, despite your absolute throatwabbling ability, I am afraid I don't stalk. Takes a stalker to know one bwoody?

Tiste's not a challenge anymore, I've moved on. Be afraid, or at least mildly intruiged.

Dude, middle of the country is not all cornfields. Have you ever seen or been to Missouri? (And for those of you who haven't, it really isn't as red-necked as it sounds... although my dad is. (and no, I am not a hick.)) Lake of the Ozarks might not be a bad place. I'm up for anywhere, really... I live in Illinois, where there is nothing, and still make do. Even in the middle of cornfields. Hell, I live across the street from one! :>
Let's just camp in my backyard... it'll work out... :S

You're just making your slow way towards me, aren't you?
That's ok, you're only human.

this happening in Penn or no? I'm in if it is. Are pets a problem? I have a 300 pound newf i can't put anywhere. The kennels all insist he's a bear.
And I have four german shepherds. no, just kidding. it would be me and the newf, who isn't anywhere close to 300 pounds and might not even be a newf at all depending on who you ask.
But if this is really happening in PN or eastwards, count me in. Early August right?

Just checked the campground's web=site pets are allowed. I'm thinking mid-August.
