You obviously never saw Cougar with his shirt off.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Yeah, I had a brilliant time with you all. A great thank you to Bill and Hazell for letting me stay all week end free of charge :D , and for SE not fleeing screaming down the street.

It was great fun meeting you all, and I hope there'll be more oportunities like this. Naturally, if by any weird chance you'd find yourself in Oslo, there's always room. I'm sure Sarah will only be mildly annoyed.

yeah, pretty much, but she took it well :D

She did come last year too, but last year didn't contain Tiste, Brewdie, nor you.. so you know.. it was different.

Also, it was fun to see how you, when you talked about things that really annoyed you, your accent got ticker and you used a lot more swear words :D

The angrier and drunker I get the harder I find it to pretend I'm a civilised, educated, well adjusted member of society, I decend into a Northern, hairy cro-magnon with a dubious grasp of the English language.

Bill reckons I have 3 personalities, one intelligent and erudite, one medium one and a final total arsehole 'like and American' his words not mine!

OK - where to start with the thank-you's? :D

First of all a huge thank you to SE and his lovely wife for coming to the bbq and for being so patient with everyone.

A huge thank you to Simon Taylor of Bantam/Transworld who took the time on a weekend, to visit with a bunch of geeky fans. You are a star sir!

Many thanks to the overseas visitors who have left a number of bottles of some of the most disgusting drinks I've ever tasted in my life! - You were all awesome - thanks so much for making the effort to attend.

Thanks to Illy - :p - I'm not sure if the full bottle you left in the study after you fell asleep there contains mead or urine- it looks very suspicious though.
Thanks to Broody for organising the picture - it was great :p
Thanks to Bubba for cakes - we had two huge chocolate cakes and the boob cake, because I thought it was appropriate.
Thanks to Clare Erikson for taking the time to advise Cougar on what to do with his hair - she made his day! :p
Thanks to Paleman for the Mojito's and Sandra his wife for being a trooper and helping out with the braii.
Thanks to Cougar and Rich for a most entertaining conversation once the children had all gone to sleep and again the following morning.

and thanks to my awesome husband Bill, whose awesomeness goes beyond words :D

@Hetan: Well, if it starts smoking when you open it, it's urine. It will also prefers cigars. And [linet]I KNEW there was a reason I didn't go back upstairs[/linet] I'm sorry I forgot about the other bog. If I'm suffering an attack of fail I'd normally try to [linet]remove all evidence[/linet] sort it out myself. Oh, and I brought my key back with me.

My hair is not a topic for discussion. Neither is my sense of direction.

To be honest, the haircut part is worse than the sense of direction. Despite us going the wrong way at least 3 times. Ah, joy :D

Cheers Het and Mal for a highly entertaining BBQ, and apologies to Mal for not quite managing to make it through the whole night.

It appears that "Team South-West" was the only car not to take any wrong turnings on the way home... WIN!!

Just for the record, we didn't make a wrong turning, we just kinda missed the turning altogether and took a more scenic route. :D

We were impressed that we managed to beat you to that petrol station despite leaving ten minutes later and stopping at KFC first :p

Goddam dutch campervans aside, we would have left first too :D

It's kinda less impressive though when you look at the detour we took :D As if a ford KA could outrun my megane :D
