OK, I'm back now - just trying to come to grips with the situation as it stands. For those of you who have offered support, thank you for that. *Ahem* Now back to business.
While I'm not completely certain what any of this means, I'm up for it. Touch rugby, in particular, sounds like an oxymoron on a par with military intelligence but I'm sure it would be fun
NO.
I agree. How much do you weigh?
I'm truly sorry to hear about your difficulty and fully expect you to overcome it in short order and come to visit us at your earliest opportunity. We'll lift a glass in your honour and send positive vibes your way in the event that you can't make it... Also, if it turns out that you recover quickly and can appear, you are more than welcome

Have we got any organisation towards some Malazanite BBQ games yet? Beyond the customary topless wrestling and arm wrestling. Shouts for a bit of quick cricket, maybe a kickabout in the field or some touch rugby?

Tiste chose pounds over kilo as that gives a smaller figure (ha ha) than if he used the first....

just checked the train timetables and looks like its gonna cost me about £30 for an open return to cambridge , which isnt too bad. The trains seem to be going quite regularly so, what would be the best time to try and arrive in cambridge?

any time early afternoon onwards is good.
You could try and see if you can hook up with anyone arriving by train and see if you can all share a taxi here. It's around 7 miles so not too bad if you are sharing.
Anyone arriving by car and wants directions, pm me and I'll reply.
Anyone who just wants general contact info, do the same please
For those that have been here before - my mobile number is still the same.

I am, trying to organise a taxi with Tommy (Paleman) over getting there, because he mentioned it a while back. You could probably jump in with us, my train is getting in at like 12.08, so organise yourself around that. Or if Tommy and Sandra are making there own way there, then we could get one ourselves which shouldn't be too expensive.

that's rather a lot of petrol money.
don't get me wrong, i'd like to go, i just don't think i can afford it.

I'm not saying it's cheap. I'm just pointing out, in the best of intentions, that I'm flying for almost two hours just to get to London, and that your excuse is puny
