To be honest, I've never had any real problems getting hold of a book here. The large Waterstones on Deansgate is pretty comprehensive - their sf section is very good. And believe me, I've bought some fairly esoteric texts from them over the years (Although I did have some problems getting hold of Douglas Hofstader's "Le Ton Beau de Marot", but they got it for me eventually)

@Pale - That anthology looks very good, more so as I am a fan of Wolfe and the earlier Turtledove work. One I shall look for, cheers, mate.

Fraid so, the Waterstones on Deansgate is probably the best, but that's about all there is. The one in St. Anne's Square that used to be Dillon's used to be good, but not so much anymore.
