HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

Am extremely enjoying LEVIATHAN WAKES, went ahead and picked up WAR and GATE. Library tells me it has the earbooks so i may get those too and move this series to that medium.
Anyone done these in earbook? if so how's the narration?

I got the hardcover omnibus of Patricia McKillip's Riddlemaster trilogy today. I remember reading this about ten years ago and absolutely loving it, but I really don't remember anything else about it. I think I'm going to be jumping this to the top of the TRP very very soon.

I've read them and listened to them for my re-read. The earbooks are awesome though they change narrators for Cibola Burn for some stupid reason then switch back for Nemesis. Being that Cibola is the worst in the series, I would definitely read it.

I got a few prepaid gift cards from work with expiry dates coming up. Dropped by Chapters to see what I can get for them.
I was incredibly happy to finally found an edition of The Silmarillion for under 10 bucks. Bought promptly.

Got City of Stairs a couple of days ago (Robert Jackson Bennett). It was on the Kindle $1.99 list & sounded intriguing, and it is, so far anyway

Received The Red Knight for Christmas. It's a lot bigger than I expected. But I love some Big Fat Fantasy.

Just bought/read The Shards of Heaven by Michael Livingston. It takes place right after the assassination of Julius Caesar and focuses on the war between Marc Antony and Octavian, but the author adds in some mystical artifacts to give it a fantasy element. Very entertaining and I guess part of a trilogy, but I haven't found any information on the second book yet.
So, you're the historian who survived the Chain of Dogs.
Actually, I didn't.
It seems you stand alone.
It was ever thus.

pre-ordered "Fall of Light". The nice people @ Indigo/Chapters topped up my reward points to 50 bucks, but I had to spend it tonight.
Also bough Paul Kearney's "Kings of Morning" and Alan Campbell's "God of Clocks". had to spend the "free" points, so I got the 2 books in the series I "have" to finish.

Thankfully not that bad, but it's at least 25' (7.6m) in length of bookcases that are 6' to 6'8" (1.8m - 2m) tall. Solidly packed as in mostly stacked horizontally rather than a nice conventional vertical left-to-right setup. The vast majority (I'd say at least 80%) would be SFF nerd candy.
I tried to take a panorama but either the phone or my skillz weren't able to do a decent shot. I suspect more the latter than the former.![:(](https://forum.malazanempire.com/public/style_emoticons/Malazan/smile.gif)
One of my best mates was telling me his older brother finally split up with his harpy of a wife and moved into his own place so we was able to finally set all his books up. Reckons older brother has 4-5 times what I have. Not too shabby.
