I've been wondering about this a long time now...
Just how old are SE's fans? The Hollywood execs would have us believe that the classic SFF fan would be 18 - 30 year old, male, and generally eager to buy tickets even for badly made movies based on puerile books that were rip-offs to begin with coughEragoncough. Sigh. Rants apart...
Just wondering, because there are some threads on the Other Fantasy board about favorites from the 80s... and in general the folken on the boards are impressively well read (I get a complex sometimes - used to fancy myself as a guru of SFF before running into the likes of Pat and the Cat and so on on these boards)
So... pick one age range, and let's see... maybe you will end up reassuring poor ol me.
I haven't included a range under 15 years of age, because I figure SE is (most optimistically, and using more Hollywood jargon) PG-13.

I'm 30 in a couple of weeks.
