Which beings do you think are the most powerful?

Please forgive any spelling mistakes, I didn't have a book handy.

I ticked a combination of Jaghut, Soletaken/D'ivers, Dragons and K'chain ch'malle

It really depends on the individual but these four being/races are strong.

Jaghut are in general, but they may pale in comparison to the latter two but then again with Raest, Gothos, Hood etc. perhaps not.
Dragons are supposedly stronger than K'chain but the K'chain have the matrons and their death cries.
Soletakens are strong, but how strong especially compared to dragons we can't guess entirely, they are a lot smaller though.

I went for FA and Jaghuts. Can't see anyone standing against the really powerful individuals of these races.

I went with the Soletaken, jaghut, human, Dragons, KCCM

Rake, Ruin soletaken Dragon = bad ass

Jaghut (Hood, ext...) = bad ass

Dragons = killed a realm = bad ass

KCCM Matron = destroyed all of creation = bad ass

Human = keep on coming like ants = badass
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

So far the FA seem to be the most powerful creatures around... we have never seen one get killed, but we have seen everything else get killed ie dragons, Jaghut, Kchain blah blah, ect ect.

Soletaken FA Dragon... now imagine what would happen if we got ourselves one of those...

Also, should "Dragon" be changed to "Eleint"???

I voted T'lan Imass, Tiste Andii, Jaghut, and Forkrul Assail. Not so much dragons because we haven't really seen them in individual action except in RG, where they got their behinds handed to them. Anomander Rake in GoTM was, well, Anomander Rake... so an exception... and Raest made out well against the Silanah five.

On the whole, looking at this list I have to give SE points for making things very balanced...

T'lan Imass - powerful, but flawed. Work better in packs than as individuals (they tore down the Jaghut the way Ay would tear down Ranag!)
Tiste Edur - powerful, but fallen. Home realm sundered.
Tiste Andii - powerful, but full of despair and without purpose. Mercenaries almost.
Tiste Liosan - powerful, but misguided/ without a guiding light (excuse the pun)
Soletaken/D'ivers - powerful but without any coherent purpose beyond the quest for raw power. Driven mad by the ritual of their creation.
Forkrul Assail - powerful, but their weird idea of balance led to their extinction to the point of near-irrelevance.
Jaghut - powerful, but nearly wiped out by T'lan Imass.
Human - poweful, but, well, human.
Dragon - powerful, but mostly dead.
K'chain Ch'malle - powerful, but victims of civil war and (possibly) near wipe out

:D One begins to see a pattern. No?

The pattern of extinction, and the fall of races.

Dragons have got to the most powerful, except the five dragons/soletakens that met Raest. K'Chain origin spoiler

It looks that way but they definately arent weak.

Rake, Ruin, Bloodeye, and Osserc would put up a fight against anyone.

T'lan Imass bonecasters are very powerful. I think that can explain the one vote. The First Sword is powerful in a relative sense, but against any of the other more powerful beings Tool would fall.

In GotM I recall Krull saying no one can stand against the First Sword of the T'lan Imass.

I've read them all.

I know Tool has his limitations, but I think Krull was talking about the title itself having some significant power. Does Tool relinquish that title?

Oh, I thought this one would be lopsided but I see everyone has different opinions. I guess I'm based my decision on individuals rather then a race a whole. As an individual I chose Jaghut, I think maybe a Dragon or FA could be considered.

As a race I am undecided. Humans dominate the world now, but if they were around when the Jaghut, Dragons, or KCCM were around, it might be a different story.

I'm the guy that voted for the T'lan Imass... the reason I did was because although one (ordinary) T'lan Imass may not be able to stand up to an individual Tiste/ Dragon/ Forkrul Assail etc, as a race and as an army they would be a very formidable challenge.

I also voted for Forkrul Assail, Jaghut (both for obvious reasons) and finally I am the only one that voted Tiste Andii... there too, an individual may not be much but as we learnt in GoTM in the Assassin takedown, and at the unveiling of Kurald Galain in MOI, in teams, especially with a dragon on call, Tiste Andii can be pretty effective in combat.

In my opinion it has to be K'chain Ch'malle. The eventual destroyers of everything!? You cant get much more hardcore eh?

Now, if a K'chain Ch'malle Hunter type dude came up to me waving its arms this way and that id fart in its face.

" CHOP THAT! "
"I think i was a bad person before. Before this time. I do not try to be good now but i am not bad. Perhaps if i try harder i may get a better hand dealt next time? But surely that makes it pointless? Perhaps i am good. Just good at being pointless. But that would make me bad. Bad at having a point. Ah…. I see now. I was nothing before, I am nothing now. I am bad purely because im pointless. "
