Don't worry.
Fixed.
Edit: Oops. That wasn't meant to happen. Just gonna properly fix now.
Right, should be sorted now. Not sure why it's saying 0 votes...

I've never read Goodkind (and I have no plans to) but I can't imagine anything being much worse than Eddings...
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

Well I have never read Goodkind (except one book years ago, and I remember nothing, so I must have blocked it out of my memory...) but the mere fact that Assail swears by him means that I hate the man, his writing and everything about his existence...
Eddings, well I liked him when I at Assails level (though I was about 13 at the time). Then I grew up and read decent stuff.

Haven't voted yet..I can't decide. They both compare to....bad. That's all I can say. I used to like Eddings, but my taste grew up (oh god, I'm old)
But Newcomb...god that was awful. I read the Fifth sh*t, and won't read any others of his.

Lol my age has nothing to do with the reading. Dr. Seuss is some great reading and that stuff is meant for 5 year olds. Doesn't make it a bad book

You're so mean to me Tiste

I still heart Goodkind.

You're comparing Dr. Seuss to Goodkind? *shakes head* For shame. Your age totally has something to do with it, Assail. I loved Eddings and and Macintosh when I was around 14, but now I can barely get 10 pages through the repetitive drivel.

Absolutely not, they're two totally different styles of writing. I'm just saying, just because the book was designed for a target audience, it doesn't mean that anyone who reads them or likes them over the age of said target audience is immature, or that the books are bad haha.
Dr. Seuss being a great example! Sorry, I had to bring in the big guns!
I still heart Goodkind.

Dr. Seuss is actually good though, and entertaining. Goodkind is, well...retarded.
I'm not saying that because Goodkind is targeted for young adults (which we are) the books are bad; they're bad of their own merit. And you're not immature for liking them, you just have no taste

With Goodkind, there is no win, there is only fail. Sorry, Fluffy.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

*shrugs* couldn't be bothered to think of a convincing lie. You haven't won this round. Typo or not, my point still stands. Your puny grammar and Goodkind-logic are nothing.

Edit: Mappo's I love your signature. I'm shocked by the lack of care American's show concerning the Dingo ate me baby line. I mean, half of em don't realize it was true, and even when I inform them of it, they still laugh their asses of. I mean damn, they're laughing at the fact that a wild dog ate some ladies baby lol.
