I have to pay international shipping!
Not used to that with living in the UK, well I'll see how things go to whether I get one.
I would definitely if there was a UK version, with UK spellings and such.

I do not believe that they're changing the text. *dials P for Pat*
See the TOR books were targeted towards the American market. These novels to the hard core fan...I doubt they're going to translate. If the deal had been done with TOR I'm sure they might have been translated this is a deal done via Bantam, so the UK version of the text must have been given to them and translating is really not a simple task.

Subpress bought the rights from Tor Books, so I figure you'll get the "American" version. . .

This was a TOR deal? really...isn't TOR limited to like American sales? Then again their books are available in Canada...hmm damn it...a campaign of some sorts? lol
I'm confused about this rights business...Bantam gave TOR the rights to publish in the US. Now TOR has the power to sell these rights as well?...

I got an email from Subpress asking me to pay the $17 shipping fee - they should really have it set up so it goes on the same bill

Could be because your paypal isn't verified or your adress isn't automatically on there or something
It added it onto my bill fine.

How do you qualify for the price reduction? I have subscribed for the newsletter and created an account with the same email address.
Help?

Was there a discount for the lettered version? Nothing came up when I payed for it so i'd rather not be overcharged for it.

Well they said both would be up for the discount on the first post in this thread but in their email/newsletter only the numbered edition was given the discount.

So I've asked Pat to put forth an idea to the publisher, although probably too late for the Gardens release, but for deadhouse perhaps. How bout getting a poll going and the those that purchase the books can vote on 1 scene they want painted. From what Pat has told me SE picks all of the art that is to be drawn, so I figured we can pick 1 and SE can pick the rest...what do you guys think?
