Damn..... I just spent nearly all my student budget on a proper new computer and so will have to scale down my ambitions. But I'll have to get one of the limited edition ones. US$300 is just out of my league. Damn, Damn Damn!!!

Wrap them in plastic and put on the shelf. $300!! a little too high for me when that would buy food shopping for a couple of months.

They did last I checked. Which was these last few minutes. I just used Amazon's "search inside" thingie, found the TOR edition of GotM, and searched for words such as armour/armor, centre/center, defense/defence etc. Only found the Americanized spellings.

I misspoke then. I checked the copy of MoI (Tor mmpb) I have with me, and it has 'armour' and 'grey' in the first few pages I flipped thru. So I assumed...

I checked some further. GotM and DG has Americanized spelling, the rest does not. Funny that, I guess they just don't prioritize Malazan enough to spend time on changing it. That, or they've just realised British English is superior.

It may be that they just want to get it out asap because it's a priority. They probably get an electronic file to typeset, so search/replace shouldn't be difficult. Or they figure their discerning readers have good judgment/judgement.

I've put my order in for the $125 one (which I'm paying $100 for - yay for discounts!!), but it didn't mention anything about postage and handling. Surely they don't pay for it? :confused:

K I just checked...it's not. I gotta pay $10 bucks extra for shipping to Canada. It's $17 for international shipping other than Canada and you Americans get it for free, as I assume its relatively cheap for them to ship within the country.

Shiara if you payed by paypal then u probably didnt get shipping in there as it has be calculated and i dont think paypal gives you options like that. So yeah ask em, cause i dont wanna pay for shipping if i dont have to.
