Here is a new interview with ICE from SFX. It mostly covers Night of Knives, but there is talk of Return of the Crimson Guard. As more of things slip out about this one, the more excited I get.


A question for the admins...

Is it about time to set up seperate forums for Night of Knives and Return of the Crimson Guard? I think they deserve it (though RotCG could wait a bit).

I agree with kcf that some form of forum (heehee, see what i did there?) is apropos once NoK is in wide release so we have a clear spoiler-allowed zone that runs across all the books.

I imagine it would fit between Mt and TB or TB and RG, which more or less lines up the original publication run with the new wider one, so we can discuss NoK in the RG forum without having to spoiler block all the time.

Or it could be placed 'above' the RG forum, but i suspect that would get unduly confusing.

As a complete aside, kudos to the admins for making the temp forum for RG. MUCH better spoiler protection.

I'm working on a new design for the front page...going to try and integrate both authors into the place cause with Return on its way soon we've clearly become a two author forum. Also provide some of the basic information that new members continue to post threads about. So yeah once NoK gets a wide release we'll probably start a NoK only thread...though considering we've discussed it to death already I don't know how much activity it would see.

I agree, hence why it should be below RG, which will generate more activity at least until TtH or RotCG show up. There are still many forumembers who haven't read NoK yet due to the limited access on the old version, who will have read TB and so on regardless.

Plus logically, TB follows NoK in terms of plot points or characters who show up. On the other hand, chronologically speaking, you could plop NoK down right at the bottom lower than GotM, since its events happen first. Might encourage more people to check out GotM despite the infamous 200 page hump.

The online one was the longer version. The magazine snippet was even shorter (although it had a picture of ICE). The magazine at least credits Bantam and PS Publishing for the book though (and not erroneously Gollancz).

Is there a way I can block the irritating and totally unnecessary moving graphics on that site so I can actually read the interview over my lousy dialup connection?
