Well that is the way it goes. The closer you get to the actual event, the more excruciating the wait.
Let's just all hope that ICE is like SE. Once he gets rolling he pumps out a book every year or so...just think...we'd be up to our testicles in Malaz.....

What about an Australian release? Or is that the same as the UK?

OK, so let me get this straight. RotCG isn't out until April and that's only the zillion dollar edition? When does the more mass produced cheaper version come out for us little people? I'm willing to order from Canada or the UK. I just cannot cough $150. My husband will turn me out of the house.

Oh, there will be giveaways, have no fear. And depending on the exact dates SE will be in the UK, his publicist has told me that the copies might be signed this time around...

You mean SE would sign ICE's work? It would work reasonably well, just slightly unorthodox.

Well if they wait much longer with that prologue they might as well drop the idea of pre-releasing it, it's taking far too long.

I know. I won't complain but, argh. The forum needs it, the people need it; I'm sure SE and ICE wouldn't condone the anguish we are going through.

Waiting just makes it all the sweeter.
I may punish myself and not even read the prologues until the books come out

In truth I'm waiting for the book far more anxiously. I just want to get the prologues out of the way and get some discussion circulated.

Yeah I hear you. It would definitely crank of the activity here on the forum

It's the promise of an early teaser and then simply not delivering that's the real kicker...

We all oughta march as a mob with forks and torches up to SE and ICE's houses and demand the prologue.
I swear, it's not just the prologue that will be sweet, it's the absolute brainstorming of specualtion that follows that is the jam in the middle of the donut. Can't wait. Oh no, can't wait any longeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer!

Unfortunately, it's the publishers who control it, not the authors. The prologues were written ages ago;)

When were the prologues "due"? I need to find the date of which the post was made that stated a week or two. I'm sure it's been almost, if not over, two weeks already.
