Return of the Crimson Guard Publication Date

I believe the release date was delayed due to the large amount of errors in the PS publishing edition, they want to make sure they don't repeat the same mistake so are being more rigorous in the proof-reading. Disapointing i know, but i'd rather have a book without the many and horrendous errors present in RotCG.

I would put more weight in what the publisher told Jay the other day than what is published on the website - I think that info is more current. So, I'd bet that Sept. 25 is more likely than the 11th.
Jay Tomio posted an update: http://www.fantasybookspot.com/jaytomio/20...se-date-update/
It is Sep 11 looks like...
Damn! Only reason I bought the hardcover was because it was before the paperback... now both are coming out at the same time. I like paperbacks because I travel a lot and they're easy to carry...

Steve's editor mentioned at the bbq in July that it would definately be September publishing date. So that's it.

I have nice shiny copy of the Transworld version of Return and it looks great.
There's a nice map of the southern part of the continent of Quon Tali in there too.. a more detailed version.

Ahhh, RoTC comes out in Canada in September in hardback and October in paperback. Talk about a wait
Unless Cotillion or Shadowthrone are in the book I'm waiting until October I guess. Plus I have to get MT/TTH...
ETA: Amazon.ca thinks the paperback is 304 pages... are they high?

amazon.uk emailed me to note a delivery date as late as Sept 29th.
They did, however, mail out my copy of THE STEEL REMAINS separately at no extra charge.
- Abyss, still giddy about further malaz goodness in the same year.

Its weird though, why is there NO information available anywhere on the internet that can give an accurate date? It has to be getting released soon, so how come no one knows? That is just horrible marketing by the publishers. Heck, even amazon.com doesn't have its usual mistaken guess up - this is absurd. Don't ICE and the publisher want to sell copies of the book?

Seriously isn't it cheaper to buy it from amazon.ca or can you folks just not wait a month?
You got it in one.
- Abyss, never delays Malazan gratification.
I just bought "Toll The Hounds" From Chapters.ca and paid only about $22.00 for it shipping inc. And received it within 4 days.

huh
I ordered Hardback RotCG from Chapters in Aug. It was supposed to come in early Sept
it didn't
in th elast week of September, i decided "screw it", cancellled my pre-order, ordered the Trade paperback instead (release date-Oct 28th)
last thursday, I got a call that my Trade paperback arrived in store.
today I got a call that my cancelled hardcopy got delivered.
moral of the story?
next time I'll use Amazon.
