I got the impression that Andarist's grief came from being disowned by his mammy, and that this happened because he was framed in some way by Scabby.

"Where it al started".... Sounds like either Malaz Island or Jakuruku, depending what "It" is; the Malazan series or the Fall.
Or something else entirely, somewhere else entirely.

Korelri and Assail can't come soon enough. I sincerely hope ICE is taking pointers from SE on how to write quickly.

Id love to see the brief adventures of Scabby and Ruin, actually.
Where it all started? Please, let him be talking about the creation of Galain and everything!

For those hoping to see Iron Bars and co., they will probably be in it. In MT they said "they needed to get home." In answer to a summonz? I hope they come back, they might need IB to save the day if the CrG schism...

It's obvious. Read whchever one you can get your hands on first.... uh, first.

I know I don't have the will power to hold off on reading one while waiting for t'other. Who here does?

Dancer, even though I turned down your sexual advances, that in no way means we still can't be friends. So send me the damn book!

:D

Way to make yourself feel better about your attempts :) I'm sorry it just wasn't possible :p

I think reading RotCG before TtH is an advantage, RotCG is set after BH which is set before and in relation to events from TtH.

Perhaps elsewhere :D But Xander and myself...we're both engaged elsewhere. Xander with Apt, myself with a lovely girl.
(Xander isn't going to be pleased :p)

Zanth is romance in the air for you? :)

Return of the Crimson Guard will almost certainly come out in May in my opinion, I'm definitely going to read it before TtH.

I'm gonna have to go with the general consensus: I'd read the one I'd get first. However, if I don't win Pat's contest (and I suppse it could happen), THE release of RotCG and TtH in Canada should be fairly close together, time-wise. In that case, I'd prefer to read RotCG first, since chronologically it should be occuring same time as RG. Plus, in the highly unlikely event of me disliking it, I'll have SE to fall back on...

Not once I'm done with them.

I can't see them being destroyed, I can see them being exiled and causing a bit of trouble raiding - eliminating their race and army would be the job of a proper army.

Last we heard Hetan had been contacted and it was coming....these things take time.

ICE is being very meticulous about this....doesn't want to screw anything up.

I'm wondering exactly when they will publish, it was only a month ago they were hoping for a March release and now it seems like it will be in or towards May, I'm unsure.
