I hope Kovalainen does well this season. His blog on the BBC website last year was very intelligent-sounding and well thought out, and he sounds like a really nice guy. A McLaren one-two every race, hopefully :)

Kovalainen-Hamilton 1-2 at the moment :) But Hamilton did just go into the pits, so I guess that could swap around later when Heikki does too.

How was Raikkonen the 'best' and worst driver of the day? He was appalling in general (couldn't handle the rain), yet again another reason why he's not consistent enough. I hate to bring this point up, but anywhere close to Schumacher? I think not.

Well done Massa, Kubica and Hamilton who all drove superbly. Sutil deserved fourth.

Yeah, I was on about the first race of the season, when he kept making mistakes but also put in some awesome driving.

Yesterday was interesting... Hamilton is a jammy bastard. His own crash playing in his favour? Ooooookay... I'd love to see what Kubica can do in a Ferrari or McLaren though. Or just should those Beemers get up to speed at some point.
;) for Sutil.

Yeah, Sutil was horrendously unlucky. God knows what Raikkonen was doing - he should have just consolidated 5th at that stage. At least he ended up with nul points - teach him a lesson.

The BMWs must be fairly decent cars this year - they're only one point behind McLaren in the constructors championship, and 4th and 5th in the Drivers...

They're meant to be the best in the corners (which makes them hard to overtake and good to overtake in, natch) and the most consistent, but they're still shy a little bit of overall speed.

Still easily the third best team and right on McLaren's tail if they slip up.

This takes the sourness of losing the football... chuffed for Kubica, I really am. Got a bit lucky (especially with Rosberg swerving into Hamilton at the last second), but took advantage well and is clearly the best driver not in a McClaren or Ferrari. And probably better than two of those as well...
Championship lead, hehe.
