I never post in here, but I've been listening to two non-hip hop songs a BUNCH for the last two days:

Wucan by Black Mountain and Mykonos by Fleet Foxes.

And cuz I couldn't resist: the Outkast circa '98 sounding remix of Knux's Cappucino. (Scroll down some and then hit play)
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Good choices Amphibian, particularly on the Black Mountain and Fleet Foxes tracks.
I'd put down "Tyrants" by BLACK MOUNTAIN as one of my favourite tracks of the year.

And really enjoying the new album by WOLF PARADE called "At Mount Zoomer"

Bon Iver - Blood Bank

Just downloaded this new EP today. It's got a much more fleshed-out sound than For Emma... and it sound like Vernon's got a band behind him this time. Brilliant stuff.

I wasn't certain if he could pull off another set as great as his first record, but this EP laid my doubts to rest.

He even *cringes* uses auto-tune vocals on the song Woods (you know, the kind used on all of Kanye West's new album - and that God awful Cher song) and somehow it doesn't come off tasteless and gimmicky. I actually like the way it's used...
