This has been stuck in my head for fully 48 hours now. I bought the album.

Yet in spite of this I am happy. It's a very fun song and I actually think the usage of dissonance works really well.

I am too far down the rabbit hole to be saved now.

That song kinda rules, aside from the goofy dubstep breakdown in the middle.

It's certainly passed the catchiness test. I kinda wish my Japanese was still good enough to understand what they were singing.

I have no defences against solid, catchy J-Pop like that. Damn fun song.

Lead single from the new Jamiroquai album. Jay is back and is still as excellent as ever. This is incredible!

I can't tell you much of what she's saying in this one beyond 'osshu let's sekai seifuku da' is supposed to be 'let's conquer the world with STYLE!' or something. But she has another track on that disc (Saigo no Ice Cream) which is about her being angry that someone had the last ice cream and now her spoon is a lethal fucking weapon. DON'T SCREW WITH KPP.

Rest in peace, Gregg Allman. So ends an incredible era of Southern jam rock.

This thread was about to slip to page 2, so i'll take this random opportunity to remind everyone how great a band lynyrd skynyrd was. Over time theyve been lumped in with white trash anthems and other bullshit. But they made some damn good beautiful music.

Only just came across this guy's music. Some very nice instrumental stuff (since he is mostly a composer). I'll put this one up since it has lyrics, but if you like it, you should check out another track called OLDUROT.

Man oh man, with the announcement of Skull & Bones at E3, I'm so pumped to hit the open seas and striking up a sea shanty (like in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag). Damn that was such a great touch to the game, so I hope they do include it in Skull & Bones.

Will prolly get lynched for this, but has anyone heard Harry Styles (of One Direction fame)'s new(ish) solo song Sign of the Times? I am thoroughly addicted to it - he channels David Bowie, Oasis, Robbie Williams and a number of other classic singers/bands. In fact, every song on his solo album echoes classic rock greats and I am just absolutely addicted.

I mean, I've got a soft spot in my heart for boy bands in general, so was always in lurve with One Direction, but of all the solo stuff they've put out since splitting, Harry's is the only stuff that I can see myself listening for years yet. It's just brilliant!

It's a pretty good song. Bowie's the obvious comparison, and it sounds a little sterile in that light -- Styles doesn't really have any snarl in his voice, and the production is rather slick -- but it's definitely a well crafted song with solid verses and a strong hook.

Really good song. And I hate most recent pop music. I was really surprised when the wife told me who it was.
