As I Lay Dying- Behind Me Lies Another Fallen Soldier. I absolutely love the lyrics to this, i can really relate to em.
“People have wanted to narrate since first we banged rocks together & wondered about fire. There’ll be tellings as long as there are any of us here, until the stars disappear one by one like turned-out lights.”

Lord, I'm discouraged - The Hold Steady

She keeps insisting, the sutures and bruises are none of my business. Excuses and half-truths and fortified wine...

First Night - The Hold Steady

Holly's not invincible. In fact, she's in the hospital...not far from that bar where we met on that first night.

Holly's inconsolable. Unhinged and uncontrollable. 'Cause we can't get as high as we got on that first night...

BRITISH SEA POWER - Light out for darker skies

From their recent album, Do you like rock music. Really like this tune, but the album itself is quite patchy.

THE CAKE SALE - Last Leaf
(Lisa Hannigan does the vocals on this particular track and it's a lovely if sad song)

THE CAKE SALE was a collective of mostly Irish artists that wrote and performed new material together, and released it as an album to raise money for OXFAM.

The Rza as Bobby Digital - No Regrets

Off his new Digi Snacks album. It's so good. Doubt anyone else is listening to it though.

I bought a "RZA as Bobby Digital" album a few years ago, but couldn't get into it at all (In Stereo was the album i think). I thought it was all over the place (and not in a good way).
It put me off checking out his other stuff to be honest.

I loved some of the Wu Tang Clan stuff, and have bits and pieces by Ghostface Killah, and Methodman, but always found the albums themselves to be too patchy. If i come across this one I'll give it a listen though.

In Stereo and Digital Bullet are not good albums. They have some good songs, but overall are bad. And I'm saying that as a huge RZA fan. But I really think he brought his music back in Digi Snacks, it was refreshing after the 8 Diagrams let down.

I too love The Wu Tang Clan. They raised me :D

Have to go and see what's rap related in my library now.

WU-TANG CLAN - Reunited

and on to a genuine classic

ERIC B & RAKIM - Paid in Full (COLDCUT's 7 minutes of madness mix)
