Not sure if any of you guys are on Spotify, but that new documentary about Anthony Bourdain (Roadrunner I think it's called) has a massive playlist tie-in of what are said to be some of Bourdain's favorite songs.

There are some deep cuts in there. Watching Bordain's shows, I know music played an integral role. The episode that ends with the haunting Mark Lanegan song was beautiful.

Dinosaur Jr. did the Tiny Desk Concerts series on NPR. J Mascis shreds like none other.

They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Don't know too much about Michael Imperioli. He was in Sopranos, right? I've never seen Sopranos, except the finale. Anyway, here he is in a Japanese Breakfast music video. Has he pivoted to being a alt-music icon or something?

Yeah, he's a bit old to repopulate the world.
She probably has someone younger down a trapdoor in the bunker....
Surprisingly good lyrics (well, given my low expectations...).

Aw guys, melancholy is setting in. #HotVaxSummer is winding down. You guys didn't really get into the #BangerSummer2021 spirit. I think I'm the only one who participated so far? Come on guys, lets go out with a bang. I'm gonna keep raging against the dying of the light. Join me.

Not really a #BangerSummer2021 I suppose. And the lyrics are corny and cheesy. But I dunno, seems to slip in there for me as we draw Summer 2021 to a close. Always a melancholic feeling for me at the end of August with Labor Day coming up.

Well guys, I think we've squeezed all the juice out of the fuzzy peach that was summer 2021. See you for #BangerSummer2022 ?

Do you think there will be a Summer 2022 with the climate events that have been occurring regularly now? Also, I'm anticipating much civil unrest as we enter the 2022 midterm election cycle. Oh and probably a new, more virulent coronavirus variant will crop up - MegaCovid 2022.

Annoyingly they haven't put WWDITS season 3 on BBC iPlayer yet despite the first two seasons being up on there...
A Haunting Poem

They are releasing here in the States (an episode a week) on the FX Network, so it sounds like you may have to wait until it finishes its linear tv run before it goes to streaming.
