this guy is simply outstanding!

It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; because there is not effort without error and shortcomings; but who does actually strive to do the deed; who knows the great enthusiasm, the great devotion, who spends himself in a worthy cause, who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement and who at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly. So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat.

that's a nice tune. Reminds me a bit of MIDLAKE, which can only be a good thing. Will have to check out their other stuff.

@ SOLIDSNAPE - that METRONOMY song is also pretty catchy, I like the simple bassline running through it. Had heard plenty about them as a band for a while but that's the first tune i can actually remember listening to something by them (the music press loved them last year). They remind me a bit of PHOENIX, but more electro.

Latest Charlotte Martin CD DANCING ON NEEDLES is awesome! Especially considering she was having some weird nerve disorder for alike a year before she recorded it where she could barely move, let alone nurse her new baby. A brave lass and an even braver CD.

Just bought the new Arch Enemy and In Flames albums. Arch Enemy is bad ass, In Flames is kind of hit and miss and of course this album is completely different that their others.


And god damn I can't fucking wait for Triviums new album!!!
