Why would you want a guy who didn't train to block in college or the first years of his NFL career (he has some speed, I don't know how good a catcher he is, but his build is not that of a receiver) on the line? As H-back maybe, but I guess over all the transition from running quarterback to running back is the easier to make?

If he was a seer, he'd have drafted a TE for a fraction of the cost .

Tebags has never played at TE while he has the body for it and he could eventually be moved over there. I seriously doubt that NE is going to have someone who has never played the position suddenly starting. He would have to learn blocking schemes for the QB,RB, WR, SCREENS, his passing routes. The reads that a TE makes are different then those that a QB makes. If Tebags was to make the transition to TE it would be over the course of a couple of years. If Hernandez ends up suspended (shooting someone in the face can do that) and the Gronk isn't ready to go I would expect NE to pick up a undrafted TE or a free agent by training camp.

Well, after today's news it really does look like it might be "Tebow Time". To be honest, it would nice if NFL football players were more like Tebow.

Id be real surprised to see Tebow lined up anywhere besides QB. Fells and Ballard are both serviceable TE's and when I think Belichick, I don't think gimmicky. I know TE's were huge parts of their offense the last few years, but that's because BB is amazing at using whatever pieces he has available. If the top two are down and the other two aren't good enough, then I'd bet on a revamped offense featuring other skill positions over Tebow trying to fill the void.
