its not a bad thing, it is a good thing to a certain extent that your offense can win games like that, just not so good that your defense cant make stops and lets your team get in a position that leaves you having to win games like that. everyone knows the colts defense isnt the best, but they do show up in the playoffs.
Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.

Saints are going to win. Bank on it.
Freeney has a torn ligament and probably won't play in the Super Bowl. That's like taking Reggie Wayne away from the offense.

This won't even be a fucking competition.

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Oh ye of little faith. Colts are still a better team, I reckon. Manning should be able to pick apart the Saints - think Favre, but without all the fumbles and bad choices...

Well if people are thinking Favre, surely the Saints will just go and rip him apart after he throws every time...

This is a big f'ng blow.
Freeney and Mathis are the base of their defense. Get Peyton the lead and let those two wreak havoc. They still have a shot of course. But this really, really hurts them.

The Colts are getting kind of shallow in the secondary, injuries and all, I look for Cool Drew B. to exploit this big time. I mean lets face it Flacco, and Sanchez couldnt carry Drews jockstrap, and this just might be the most potent offense the Colts have faced all season. All that having been said the Saints need to jump out to an early lead to even have a prayer , Manning will have their defense figured out by halftime.
Can you dig it ?

Colts secondary is as healthy as it's going to get. Powers should be available, meaning Hayden and Powers at starting CB, Lacey in the Nickel, and Jennings in Dime.

No-one seems to really know, but consensus is that if he does play he won't be in great shape and the Saints could target him, ligament damage doesn't heal that quick no matter how good your medical help is.

Well yet again my wussy friends with jobs who I normally watch this with cannot stay up til 4am or whatever to watch live, so I shall, the good friend that I am, not be watching it tonight. We are convening tomorrow evening and I hope that I shall not find out any scores til then. I managed it last year, so it's not impossible...
And I have decided to support the Saints, to no-ones surprise...

Yeah that episode had uncomfortable recollections of last year for me... This year I have no work so I am not going to be listening to people talk about stuff, and I will not be going online all day (I think I can manage it...)

@ Terez: I agree completely. Who the fuck was that by the way? Looked damn good, but that was NOT singing, it was shouting witha bit of warbling thrown in. It pisses me off so much when they do that with anthems, just SING THE FUCKING SONG PROPERLY THE WAY TRADITION HAS LAID DOWN AS THE CORRECT WAY.
Clunges.
Colts on top so far, good game, I'm finding myself leaning towards rooting for Indiannapolis which surprises me, but I'll go with it. I was supposed to be watching with my brother in law, but he can't get tomorrow off so is doing what Tiste et al are doing. I on the other hand am not an enormous vagina, and so have managed to get tomorrow morning off and will be staying up all night to watch it and eat my bodyweight in popcorn chicken.

I had to ask who it was too (it was Carrie Underwood). The worst part was that she was horribly out of tune.

Colts just made a record, longest drive in Superbowl history. (96 yds.)

HAHAHA LMAO having just searched that name, it appears she WON A COMPETITION. American Idol winner. Seriously??!! 300million people and that's the best that can be mustered, tut tut. She clearly won entirely on the strength of her looks, which is a slightly depressing indictment of the state of western society.
Whatever happened to the good old days when singers were ugly but could actually, well, sing? I'm an old and cynical 22 year old, what's happened to me.

lol, I didn't even know she won American Idol. Just knew she was a country singer. Apparently she's one that's usually dependent on auto-tune.
I wonder if there is any way to watch football without the annoying commentators? I mean, I realize you can turn down the volume, but the crowd noise is kinda necessary for the aesthetic.

Dad always watched the game on mute and turned on a radio commentator... seems to work out most of the time.
Also: fourth and FAIL. Damn it.
