I knew that, and even thought about it when I made the Tennessee comment; I just wasn't thinking. Both of them started college during the years I wasn't paying attention.

And from what I gather, the Colts are a better team, and the Saints have only gotten so far because they have managed to scrape through a bunch of tight spots (like tonight). Not that they're not a good team, but that has been my impression of this season, just from reading about the games. The QB seems conservative, but solid, which makes him good but not great like Manning or Favre.
Anyway, I think I will actually watch this Superbowl. I think I might have watched one or two since '98, but '98 is the last Superbowl I remember watching, since it was the last one I actually gave a shit about. I was a Favre girl, and that Superbowl seemed like the beginning of the end for the Packers. It hurt too much to watch the Packers sucking in the next season or two, so I quit watching.
But I think I will watch it and root for the Saints. If they lose, it will still be sweet that they at least got to go, and lost to a worthy team with a Saints boy for a QB. I know that makes me not a real Saints fan OMG I ABANDONED THE AINTS FOR BRETT FAVRE but I don't care. I have enough crap to worry about without getting emotionally invested in sports.
