As much as it annoys me to say it, I don't think there's anyone who can challenge the Pats. Undefeated season?

And the packers are 5-1. Beautiful. I think I just caught a wiff of the playoffs...

Did you see the highlights of the Boise State-Nevada college football game. I mean.. 69-67!!!!!! 4 overtime periods!!!! That's insane.

just got to see some of the PAtriot -cowboys game too. the Patriots are looking scary indeed. To lose your no.1 tight end, and your main running back, and still score 48 points. That's ridiculous. I wonder if we'll get to see a meeting of two 9-0 teams when they meet Indy in a few weeks time? That will be something.

Sweet Jebus, we have a real running back in Minnesota. Of course, we still need a QB that won't go 9-23 and a real head coach but I am happy to see at least one player in a skills position that had some mad skills.

I can't see anyone stopping NE right now, only their own over-confidence can do them in.

I think Tavarius is a servicable QB, but you need receivers that aren't ham-fisted and can actually catch.

A couple, at the very least, of those incompletes would have been caught by a competent (I cant spell that word) receiver.

But yes, the bald tardo is annoying me to no end.

Some wild games yesterday - I sure didn't foresee the Broncos beating the Steelers. And then there was that Houston-Tennessee field goal contest! NE still looks unstoppable. And Tavaris Jackson - still inept. He holds on to the ball far too long. He completed six passes yesterday. Six!

Pats for me, their defense gives them the edge and should stop the colts enough for them to pull away for the win.

I actually hope the Pats win their big showdown, since from what I've seen of their games, they are playing the most exciting brand of football, and I like to see that rewarded. I've seen some of the Colts games, and they were methodical but I didn't enjoy watching them. The Patriots on the other hand felt like they could just let it rip on every play and take it to the house.

when my other option is watching my poor Bears look more and more confused. You know things aren't good when you are relying on Devin Hester to do most of the scoring. He's a phenom but come on.

I'm hoping that Green Bay manage to have a big season for Favre though I can't see any NFC team challenge either the PATS or he COLTS.

Hopefully they'll televise the big showdown on ESPN here in New Zealand, bt looking at the times of the matches, I'd say we'll have Dallas- Philly. Damn.

I'm going with the Pats too. The Colts impress me but Brady has too many weapons to choose from for any defense to deal with now. It reminds me of the '98 Vikings except the Pats have a QB and coach that don't choke.

Did anyone see that play in overtime of the Monday night game? Favre is the man. I was so happy. Packers probably should have lost that game, but I'll take it.

What I loved about that Packers game, was hearing the commentary at the beginning. You have Tony Kornheiser gives a speech about how great Favre has been historically on Monday night, and that hopefully he can do it again. And bang, first throw, a long range touchdown.
The overtime touchdown though was an amazing pass though. I was delighted to see that.
And that running back for Green Bay looked pretty effective (Granted against the worst defense in the league). But at least it gives the hope that you could have the option of running by the time the ground gets heavy. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Ray.

That new back better be good, because the old starter just got put on IR. I got some really strange looks during halftime of that game. I went to the grocery store wearing a cheesehead. Fun stuff.

much like LSU, they should have lost. they played sloppy football, a few breaks went their way at the right moments, and that was it. its tough seeing a team win when they obviously didnt play like they should.

one thing i did notice, peyton didnt audible nearly as much as he usually does in a game

It seemed like it took the Pats about three quarters to figure out the Colts and then just tore them apart. Their D just shut Indianapolis down and that offense was just plain scary in how fast they scored. It was just a total shift of momentum.

And at the risk of being Johnny One-Note, how about my running back? No one I know (including myself) picked the Vikings to win. I figured Gates and LT would score a jillion points and their defense would be the toughest thing we've seen yet. Instead our D stifled all day long and our OL just did nothing but open giant holes in the second half. 235 yards rushing for Peterson in the 2nd half? I've never seen anything like that in my life, and I'm ancient!
