To bring up an old point never resolved, has there ever been a QB who switched to FB?

Does it have to be just FB? Because the Niners have an RB who was a QB in college. In fact, I think they have two, but I can't recall the details - I just remember that Michael Robinson was their third string RB and their second string QB - but only the latter after Smith, Dilfer, and Hill had all gone down. I don't remember if anyone but Norris was officially used as FB.

Sucked to be a Niners QB this year ... we need some OTs.

Check this kid out. A white running back that is going to Michigan. Think he has a future in the NFL?

Holy Crap. I watched the mixtape highlight reel they had for him. That kid is good. It's a shame I will have to wish him ill his entire college career.

Have you guys been following the NFL Combine? Some Eye Popping results.

Darren McFadden ran a 4.33 40 yard dash and some scouts clocked him at 4.27

Rashard Mendenhall (The running back from Illinois) ran in the 4.4 range, which is amazing considering he is 225 pounds.

While normally I wouldn't want my team to waste a high pick on a RB, I think McFadden is a game changer, much like Peterson last year. He excelled in every aspect of the combine. The guy is a freak.

Joe Flacco (Quarterback from Delaware) is the steal of this draft IMO.

6'6 and has a cannon of an arm. I think he'll end up being the best QB of this class.

I love this stuff.

If you watch the highlight reel, he does that several times. It's crazy. If you go low, he jumps over you, if you stay high, he jukes around you.

Hey, it looks like you guys may be getting Pryor, so cheer up :D

Of course, after all the hype that has been built up for this kid, it will be hard for him to match it.....

Free Agency Madness :p

Have the Vikes completely lost it ? 6 years, $42 million, $16 mil guaranteed contract for WR Bernard Berrian. That's crazy money for a guy with 150 career catches and 13 Td's. Even if they see a hell of a lot of potential who is going to get him the ball ! WOW
What Would Jack Do ?

probably too much money, but considering he did so well with rex grossman id say the only direction he can go is up, especially if tavaris develops

Right now I'm just wondering what will be the result of Favre Watch 2008. I call it 50/50 that he comes back.

I'm glad the Falcons picked up Michael Turner, he and Norwood will be a good one-two punch....now if we can just get a QB......I like Matt Ryan...

The Vikings had a big problem with "eight in the box" defenses and their lack of vertical speed demon receivers made it hard to beat that. Berrian's fast, but I don't know if he's worth that much money.

Jeebus. My best friend went to high school with Matt Ryan and we were all at BC together (he redshirted a year). He was easily the most fluid athlete on the basketball court during pick-up games, but I never thought he'd be the consensus top QB prospect going into the draft.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Berrian being overpaid is just another sad showing of teams being desperate for help. I mean those two DT's the Raider's paid all that money to, I've NEVER HEARD OF.

Berrian is fast, but he doesn't go over the middle or have good hands.

Matt Ryan just seems like a calm, smart guy. He seems very polished, I just hope if ATL does draft him...they'll let him sit and watch instead of throwing him to the wolves....

The Raiders gave a heap of money to someone on the Defensive Line I've never heard of...and yes Turner should be a good pickup. Still need a QB.

Redman? Are you serious?!?? Admirable??

Awful quarterback, and sadly the best they have right now. We have to draft someone and just suck up a year or two more of crappy football so the kid can learn how to play.

Redman. Awful.

The rest of the draft picks need to be defensive. And get rid of that piece of shit Deangelo "I get beat deep every game" Hall.
