Rodgers looked good when he played last season. He'll never be Favre though, and it's possible I'll always hate him for that. Plus he looks like a scrubby 70s porn star.

Well of course he'll never be Favre, we'll never see anybody like again. He did everything "the wrong way" as far as mechanics go but set all those records. The guy was a freak.
Rodgers is a tad on the scruffy side...but hey man it gets cold up there in the winter...more hair...more warmth

I'm amazed at how much this affects how much I'm looking forward to next season. Not so pumped. This will change eventually, I'm sure. Go Pack.

It's natural. Though I didn't defend Michael Vick it was depressing going into this season as a Falcon's fan. The guy was amazing to watch (and maddening at times).
Now I'm excited about their draft....and the fact that last year was the worst it could ever get for a team i think.

I wonder who they'll try to get to backup Rodgers. Not too many vet QBs floating around right now.

Gus Frerotte would be the obvious choice. Culpepper would be too expensive. A team like the Bears need to take a chance on Culpepper

Bears need to do something. Grossman is dry turds on ice.

Yes, yes he is. I love it that they are still on the Rex wagon. Ruin that franchise for years to come.

He was a Florida QB, they never turn out well....
I hate him so much.

That's why I've always hated him! That, and he plays like he's drunk.

Being a UGA guy, of course I hate him.
I just don't get why the Bears can't ever get the QB position figured out. I mean they haven't ever had a GREAT qb, the best being Jimmy Mac, who benefited from a great defense and the great Walter Payton.
I mean they've never had a great qb....ever.

its hard to have a great qb in the weather there. snow and wind are killers.. hell, look what the wind did to favre, and he was in his career best year
if they had a dome it would be another story, or if they ran the west coast offense. short patterns and a running game would take the weather out of it, and they have neither right now because benson sucks

The weather plays a small part, but it's no excuse. They've had draft after draft of pathetic qb's, McNown, Orton, Grossman just to name the last few.
Benson looks to be the first official bust of that 2005 Draft though...the guy is just mentally weak.

Bears just signed Brett Favre as a free agent!
Not really, but it would help them. And I would kill myself.

God I watched that tv conference today, and am not ashamed to admit it got me choked up. To see someone who truly loves what he does and is humbled by the amount of money and fame it has brought him....beautiful. That was tearing me up just watching Favre up there.

According to man rules, one of the times public weeping is alllowed is when a sports icon retires. So, go for it if the mood strikes you.

Looks like the Seahawks are going to cut Alexander or release him. He's fallen off the map....looks to be done as a full time RB.

Wish my Bucs would have tried to pick him up instead of wasting money on Dunn and Brian Griese (again)...
Better yet they should have been trying to pick up 'ol ocho cinco since he now hates the Bangels.

So last night I was walking downtown for some pizza at like 1am with some friends of mine,
and someone said, "I'm so hungry I could eat a whole pizza."
I said, "I bet I could eat 100 pizzas," and no one understood me. I was sad.

Alexander runs soft. He's always trying to get out of bounds instead of lowering his shoulder and plowing into or over people. He's like a center in basketball who refuses to take it strong to the hoop, and would rather shoot fadeaways.
I can't freaking wait for the draft.
