I used to think Leoman was great, but he turned into a right bastard in BH, so he gets my vote. Mallick Rel is just behind him for betraying Coltaine and, especially, Duiker.
Avoid being seen as racist by saying, "I'm not a racist, but ..." prior to making a racist comment.

I gotta echo on Bithidal. The scene when Karsa finally catches up with him and stuffs B's junk down his own throat was cathartic.

Leoman gets my #2 position, with Dom and Rel in a tie for #3.

I haven't read The Bonehunters yet, so I will stick to the first five books. I most dislike Kallor, Rhulad, Scabandari Bloodeye and Karsa Orlong. I know that a lot of people like Karsa, but there's something about him that makes me mad and I simply can't learn to like him.:)

I tend to like all the characters SE uses, but putting this in the context of character who did the most loathsome thing in TB specifically, i go with Leoman....

WHIRLWIND REBELS: Leoman, you are our leader! Lead us! Lead us!
LEOMAN: Ok, cover yourselves in oil and go bodybomb the Malazan forces into bacon.
REBELS: Yes leader! We go!!! Glory to the Apolka...the Apokka... the Applecra... Glory to the Whirlwind!!!!
LEOMON: Bunch'a frikkin idiots... i am SO outta here.
CORABB: I've wasted my life! Waaaaah.
LEOMAN: Loser.

I love Taralack Veed! Especially when he spits on his hands to freaking fix his hair!

I also love Leoman, for that pure, calculating evil move. Besides guys, Karsa's no better. They both want to erase humanity, as Leoman discussed with Karsa back in the desert.

Anyways, second place following Smiles is anyone with the prefix "Rath" in their name. Except for Rath K'rul, of course. Who, incidentally, is K'rul.
