Felisin the Younger, everything about her just rubs me the wrong way...
I love characters like Kallor, and a bit less Karsa because while I don't like them they are very interesting and fun to read....

Korbolo Dom and Mallic Rel.
They have the sort of stupid, cunning smallminded evil that really turns my stomach.
And even though they're not very powerful(at least they don't seem to be), they have got away with it so far.
Pormqual wasn't so bad, he was just dumb and arrogant, and he paid for it while Mallic Rel stood beside and smiled.
I would like to lock Mallic and Korbolo in a small room... with Karsa.
That would be really nice:)

I can't really hate Leoman for his part in BH. His army was outnumbered and surrounded by forces individually and collectively superior to anything he could come up with. If he'd died along with them no one would have a bad thing to say about him. He gave them what they wanted, the most damage they could inflict on Malazans, then he got out of dodge.
Ganoes Paran is the guy who I'd give the "Most Loathsome" nod to, his treatment of Poliel just reeks to me. Apsalar is a close second, general smugness/nihilism/angst going on there. The scene where they approach one another and attempt to out-smug/out-humble one another (at the Same. Time.) was my least favorite part of the book.

You mean Paran's treatment of a god that caused the deaths of tens of thousands of people in Seven Cities? I'd say she deserved everything she got.
Avoid being seen as racist by saying, "I'm not a racist, but ..." prior to making a racist comment.

yeh Poliel definitley desrved what she gor for siding with th CG. I think Pannion Dude is a bit harch on Apsalar as i felt Sorry for her when she wanted to die because of her sorrow.

haha, Leoman uh. Wonder what Karsa's reaction would be if he hears about Leoman's latest feat!

Well, thank you everyone...I am surprised, nay stunned:D , at the range of characters that people found so..well, loathesome!
I couldn't see a post from I hate Pormqual, did I miss it....I wonder who'd get IHP's vote

'Tell me, Tool, what dominates your thoughts?'
The Imass shrugged before replying. 'I think of Mafia, Adjunct.'
'Do all Imass think about Mafia?'
'No. Few think at all.'
'Why is that?'
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her. 'Because, Adjunct, they are sheeple.'
Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?" ... and then it hits me.

i dont like kruppe am afraid to say. The image i conjur of him is horrible and i hate the way he diverts all the gazes of who or what he is. What a knob.
He has done some very worthwhile things in the series but hes just too smug for my liking.

Heh, IHP hasn't finished the series yet. I think he's currently on book 4.
In my opinion, the worst character is Bidathal. He hurt so many people, and then he brainwashed them into joining his cult, completely destroying their lives. I still have no idea why QB didn't kill him.

Was just rereading the bit in HoC discussing that. Not remembering who exactly...either Heboric's inner monologue on his way to confront Bidithal, or Cotillion chatting with Lostara, seemed to think there was a reason why Bidithal was allowed to survive.

Bidithal is still alive. Didn't Karsa (re)turn him into a boy soprano? I thought he was dead.

I'm pretty sure, as there was a description of Bidithal going though Hood's Gate and being tortured horribly for ever, after his de-genitalling by Karsa, that he's very, very dead.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

he survived so that he could castrate or whatever the feminine equivalent is, more girls... grrrrrr..
I wish I knew why he was allowed to live that time... at least Karsa knew what to do with his twisted slimy soul.. and bits.

As Hetan at least caught, i was referring to Dancer, Kalam and QB's purge of the Rashan temple where Bidithal was allowed to escape.
Come on people, work with me here.
- Abyss, tragically misunderstooded.

I hate POrMqual has it on the money. There is no other creature in these books that deserves to be worn by hood as a pair of gorey slippers. Pormqual was an utter mistake as human being.

Pormqual was being Mokra'd by Mallick Rel. Sure, it's his 'fault', but without Rel there (and Rel had been there a while by the time the disasters with Coltaine and the Aren legion happened) chances are Porm' would have been slightly less of an idiot, been deposed by Admiral Nok, or otherwise removed.
