I'm not being lazy ~ honest, but my search doesn't seem to work, so if this topic has been covered in BH before, please would SKS point me in the correct direction?

If it hasn't been covered then :banana: , anyway in the series, and leaving aside the CG, who is the most dishonourable, loathesome character. The one you really would like to punch on sight, the one that makes you want to spit every time they appear, the one...you get the idea.

For me it's Pormqual (spl?). What an absolute bleep.

(I would like to have made this into a poll, but a) I'm not technical enough [did try, but I seem to be having various disply/pc problems at the mo] and :) I couldn't narrow it down enough/be sure I had remembered enough so as not to leave someone's favourite hate figure out. But if someone would/could edit this to do that then feel free.) :outta:

Oh, Rhulad too. Not just because hes a pawn of the Crippled God, I don't really care about that, but just his overly cocky attitude. I wanted to smack him so many times in MT.

Mallick Rel and Korbolo Dom are good choices. As long as we're compiling the Hall Of Shame, how about Laseen? So far, she seems to be throwing her weight around and killing lots of people in a situation that is way, way over her head.

Pearl is just sad and self-deluded, and ends up apparently dying for nothing at all.

i say leoman. he betrayed the thousands who had faith in him and then burned most of them alive while he ran away with the woman he was sleeping with. Cant get much worse then that.

Heh, I thought of her myself, and then decided she wasn't nearly as bad as Kallor, Dom, and Rel. But yes, annoying. Her parts of TBH are what slow me down in reading it, because they irritate me so.

@Agraba
I never thought about how Smiles uses her sex to get away with so much crap, but you make a good point. Damn. I must reconsider my attitude toward all my fellow (male) cooks at work now... perhaps being 'one of the guys' isn't really what I'm accomplishing. :)

How bout that Edur guy, Hanon Mosag or somin like that, the dude who initially served the CG and sent the brothers Sengar off.

Or Poliel, didn't like her at all after Dujek died.

This is weird, the thing I like about MBofF is that there isn't really any truly evil or good characters, it's often very grey.
I mean Poleil isn't bad, she's the harbinger of sickness, just doing her job. Smiles wasn't better than Koryk or Deadsmell, besides if you remember someone hinted at her having an abusive father, she may have killed. That warmed my heart for her, poor, little killer.

If I should mention one, it would have to mention one characterit has to be the guy that ordered the army to not help save Coltain and then let his army to march out and get crucified. The 9th circle of Hell was created for people like him.
