The problem with Rhulad as the final resurrection is that chronologically he is the first resurrection of the series. So the other resurrections can't really be said to lead up to him, as his occurs before. So there very well could be another coming....damn you SE and your non-linear sense of time!!!!
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Maybe the ressurection is more figurative... ie: its Kurald Emurlahn, since a warren is technically 'alive', and this one was shattered/killed.

Relatedly, maybe its the conclusion of Kettle's return to life started in MT.

- Abyss, dies roughly every Monday am.

The warren idea sounds cool, but i cant think of any warrens that really need a resurection seeing as kurald ehmurhalan (spl) is only broken into alot of pieces, although its coming together agian into a single complete warren could be considered resurection i quess. I wonder how this would be the big finale though.
My quess would be something less obvious than just a person or a god and probably fits in with the crippled god thread seeing as it seems to be the main one and most likely will have something to do with the final ending. No clue as to who or what though.

If mending a broken realm like KE is considered a Resurrection, then that could also apply to the Chained One... fixing him I mean. Who knows, maybe the cursed sword or the power of the House of Chains is healing him. Just an idea.

The CG being mended into his what he was before they brought him down from his own world would have quite an impact on the seies. I wonder if he would then be able to just simply cast off the chains holding him and proceed to destroy whatever he wants untill someone challenged him. As a consequence of him being mended though he wouldnt be imperfect anymore, so he could possibly lose his following because the whole idea is to worship your imperfections, is it not? Would he even need them after this though? I could somewhat see the big finale being the CG turning his back on his mortal followers and him taking on eveyone in his new and improved body.

Don't think it is mending a warren, of the CG as SE was quite implicit concerning what he considered a resurrection.

He explained what he considered a resurrection, and those don't qualify.

If KE is to be mended, it will be by the last uncorrupted child of the Eres'al and Trull, right? The child will be the answer to the atrocity of Rhulad.

Heboric came back through Hood's Gate. Paran didn't get that far before he was resurrected. QB has travelled Hood's Realm, not sure if we can consider that "behind the gate" or not.

The Hounds may have escaped Dragnipur, but they were chained in the sword, and so did not return to life upon escape. Paran was never chained, and so we can't consider his example a precedent for the others in the sword. I doubt everyone still inside will just return to their corporeal forms again. Draconus is an EG though, so all bets are off for him.

The Azath imprisons without killing (at least immediately, I imagine less powerful creatures would go mad/starve eventually). So it's not remarkable that people can escape from them alive.

yeh Kettle is considered the only pure candidate for a healed realm. But apparently it will have so many enemies so who will be its champion. I cant see Bloodeye coming back. Maybe Trull?

We should poll this :)
It has to be Tiam... we know she resurrects... and the quote *may never rise again* is a bit of a give away :D
So who's gonna open the gate for her? (crazy theory)...Or let her down from that pocket warren? :D

Icarium....
Remember when Spite tells the Trell to never give up hope, and then says that he may be the end of everything... or not? He kills Rhulad, rhulad comes back, he kills Rhulad again, dying during the batlle (because rhulad becomes stronger everytime he (not sure which) kills/dies to a better fighter than he is. Icarium that kills the crippled god, becoming a damaged, insane person himself, who the trell then has figure out a way (with Ganoes's help while Tavore is fighting the rest of the edur) to scrub the damaged part from his 'soul', repairing him, and all problems are fixed....

(/rediculous reach)

In the Bonehunters, there is a scene where Grub is talking to Keneb. He says:

Quote

She is not stupid, no. They are coming, to await the resurrection.
...
They will try to kill her. But that is wrong. She is our last hope. Our last hope.

This was just after Kalam and Quick had reported to Tavore about the presence of K'Chain Che'malle sky keeps in the Imperial Warren. So I assume the "they" refers to the KCCM? What resurrection are they waiting for? Perhaps they are related to Tiam in some way. And who are they trying to kill? Keneb assumed Grub was talking about Tavore, but I'm not sure. It sounds like they are waiting to kill the person that is resurrected.

Sorry if this has been brought up before.

Not completely rediculous, but one if left wondering how Karsa will play into that scenario, since he's on his way to the same place.

Plus killing the CG seems to either be extremely difficult, or extremely dangerous, in an oops-we-killed-Burn-too-and-now-the-world-will-end sort of way.

- Abyss, hates it when that happens.

Perhpas Karsa Traps CG in himself (Karsa has become a Warren unto himself, if he is not already), then Iccy kill Karsa, causing the Warren to... Blink out of existance and take everything with it? The Little Miss Deus Ex Machine brings Karsa back to life, and he goes home and apologizes to his father, Iccy and Mappo are back together, because during the fight Iccy is healed. Then ST and Cotillion become the rules of the azath, somehow allowing all the fallen bridgeburners to be re-incarnated as the army of High House War (I believe this was mentionted in TBH). Everyone lives happily ever after... except Tavore, who learns she killed Feislin, and takes her own life.
Monster Hunter World Iceborne: It's like hunting monsters, but on crack, but the monsters are also on crack.

Like it all....except...

I still see the series ending with the resurrection of Felisin and all House Paran living happily together in a loving but non-incestuous way.

Feather Witch: "The Queen lies dead and may never rise again." Her divination of the Dragon Hold in MT. Again, I say Tiam.

It has to be said, Tiam makes a lot of sense as the major resurrection.

Also, is Mother Dark dead/gone? Or is she Tiam in the first place?
I'm a bit lost on that whole score. Memory fades.

I believe that MD's in the Wagon inside Dragnipur. Either that or she's hanging out somewhere in Kurald Galain (which is housed inside the Wagon in Dragnipur).

I don't think Mother Dark is an actual person at all...kind of like Gaia in Greek mythology or Apsu in Babylonian myhtology, or Tepeu and Gucumatz of the Mayan mythology... They are 'beings' but not necessarily corporeal humanoids. Same thing here. I don't think she's physically 'hanging out' anywhere. She's out there somewhere, sure, but not likely to make an appearance anywhere.

Well, we know that Rake occasionally has chats with her, and I don't think that Rake's the kind of guy who would talk with some random Essence.
