Glad everyone likes it. I probably will be doing a colored version when I get back from the tattoo convention that I'm heading off to. Till the next time.

The BB logo is good...

...but the Itkovian and 9th Squad tattoos are GREAT.
I think the personalized inscriptions on them are what really makes them come alive to me. When I read Itkovian's "I am not yet done" my breath was just taken away. The "first in, last out" was a really good idea too. Loved it.

You're awesome, Enaglio.

Hey, as my avatar is Itkovian everywhere except here, I should get that tattoo. Dang.

Wow.

But what's that on the top of the 9th Squad logo? Some kind of Claw?

I believe that would be the banner of the empire, a globe clutched in the grip of a demonic claw...where both the Talon and the Claw derived their names from

Just for everybodies information, if you would like to use one of my tattoo designs just let me know. I would just like to be aware that someone else has had one put on so I don't get tempted to use the same design on myself or others. If you want me to do it for you, even better. Or if someone is in my area and wants a Malazan tattoo designed let me know that too.

Till next time.

May I copy your BB logo and use it as an address bar icon for the Malazan wiki or the Starvald Demelain forum please? I really like it ;)

Hetan, go right ahead.

You can use the logo for either. Being an artist all I ask is that if someone asks who designed it, I get a little credit. (Petty, I know, but us artist types get that way sometimes.)

i haven't forgotten my intention to do these sigils...i just haven't had time. it would help if there was some effort to design others and so help with the process.

To be honest, I'd use the BB one without the 9th Squad bit. You'd be able to use it better that way, I would have thought...

Would those tattoos not be extremely painful to have done, given the complexity and colour detail?

Great designs, but they made me wince to think of them being applied...

Those tattos are very cool.

I was thinking of getting one which combined the Malazan claw and globe device and the Bridgeburners emblem, having the BB emblem inside the globe.

In my head the claw is gripping the the globe from the top sort of like it would be if it were on a necklace, but I can't remember if there were any specific references to the specific design of the Imperial emblem.
