However, I was forgetting Karsa's 'destiny', so there would be something in him going back to Genabackis to rally the Toblakai, and that will only be possible in Toll the Hounds (unless SE plans to have sections of the story partially set on Genabackis in the last two novels).

Just a thought on that: there are a decent number of Toblakais or Toblakai descendents on Lether corrupted by the former human letheri empire (at least their gods were Toblakais), Ublala Pung's people right? And just like the teblors they don't know what they are. Maybe Karsa will stir things a little, maybe not.. thoughts on this anyone?

The tarthenal. It could happpen. I doubt it though. Their toblakai blood is probably much thinner tha the teblor, who thanks to Icarium are the closest thing to full blood toblakai around. Also, he has an army waiting for him back home, and the tarthenal were nearly wiped out by the letherii so they don't have the numbers to be an army. Still, Karsa is rather unpredictable.

And he tarthenal have all been smuggled to the islands by Tehol.

actually in all fairness there could be enough for an army. remember its not exactly strength of numbers that karsa needs

But will we see you? Or, more importantly, will we hear from you?

Maybe a gloat or two?
The odd knife twist?
Throw in a false trail/red herring?

Thats why I stopped reading this thread days ago.

That seems to imply that RG will be longer than TBH... Excellent.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Well for the moment everybody's headin' to Lether. So... pretty clear where Reapers will take place.

a bit late. judas priest fan are you? not too much into halford?

And for Kallor, at least we know, if there is a delay, it's because of the publishers.

A gloat and a knife-twist in one swoop?
Impressive.
This level of nastiness was uncalled for surely?

To make amends you could drop an appearing name or two into the thread?
Bait the hook so to speak.

Is Turudal Brizad in Book 7? Do he and Feather Witch make whoopie? After that, do they then have sex with each other? Does he inject her with ultra god-sperm, and as a result, make her have ultra mutant babies? Are those mutants teenagers? Are they the Teenage Mutant Ninja Bhok-arala? Is Greyfrog their humble, yet ultra-powerful (in an ancient japanese kung-fu sort of way) master?

C'mon Kallor, you can't deny all that. Reaper's Gale is so predictable.

And who's the guy from LOST? In fact, what's LOST?

The guy from LOST who plays Mr Eko, or Michael?

And 'Raraku' loosely translates from ancient jaghut as 'buffet'. Someone bring me his brainz. Now.

- Abyss, isn't asking THAT much, dammit.

*groan* You know, there I was thinking about what a star Agraba was for revealing what Pallor had said...then he had to go on about Turudal Brizad and Feather Witch: so we mix unpredictability with unpredictable spite as a recipe for kids??? I thought to myself: Pallor's to blame. I thought of subtracting from his reputation but he did throw us that bone so I thought of adding one at the same time.

Then I looked at his -666 score and thought: I'm not touching that ominous number with a barge pole.

So the puppet's still around??? I bet the twisted little so-and-so's now allied with the CG!

Erm, as I recall, you DID ask for it! Hah!

First off, I need to ask a burning question. As the MBotF is a tale from a long dead civilisation, would it be logical to surmise that the Malazan Empire will crumble towards the end of the sieries? And what of Shadowthrone and Laseen? Are they destined for a full on brawl?

*Please note I have yet to complete TBH, so not fully aware of the future as some.

As for RG, which seems to be set on Lether, and so everyone is heading that way, would it be logical to surmise (again) that some of the 'lesser' characters are to die, or even ascend?

And, just another question, is this story (thye whole series) about Icarium? I was thinking this only this afternoon, he seems to be all too important a character, with too little page time! After all, he is a weapon of the Nameless Ones. And will they ever get named? Do we want to find out who they are and who they work for? I think they work for the Crippled God, am I right?

You can answer me now!
