i have sent the email once already...i'll re-send it at the end of this week .. and maybe i'll prod se about it too
re: reaper's gale: i'm done. this book will make you weep; often from the humour, but far more likely from the tragedies within ... so many die ... so many ... on a scale which beggars previous novels ... i'm sure itwill take me days to get over one death in particular ...

The speculation runs wild in my mind, who is being reffered to, oh my.
by the sounds of it, I will LOVE it, hehe

First thought: Quick Ben
Second thought: Fiddler
Either way, I agree with Gem, a punch to the gut.

Anomander;)
Though what he would be doing in this novel, I do not know. Alas he was in the prologue, thus he will be in the book at some point.
To be honest if its Rake, I'll be pissed of beyond measure. He comes in book 1, does bad ass things. Comes in book 3, does even MORE badass things...then just...LEAVES. If he's back...I demand some more badassness from him and no dieing!

Current Kallor sig:
"You two," Hood said, turning away, "are worse than advocates. And you don't want to know what I do with the souls of advocates."
---
My bet is that the "two" are Paran and Quick Ben.

Ha, no no, it's Tehol and Pust! The amount of unintelligible nonsense they could spout would make even the deathwanderer turn and run.
Edit: A moderator needs to take another look on Kallor's rep, I thought Jenisand was going to find him a little special place where we couldn't tamper with him

There are several possibilities I guess, but I don't think that Quick Ben and Paran is very likely as they are on different continents as far as I'm aware. So perhaps one of these?
QB + Bottle
Tehol + Bugg/Mael
ST + Cotillion
Karsa + his witch friend (What was her name again?)
I'm thinking the first and third there look most likely.

Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

Ok...my gut's not going with Paran. Although, with Hood and Quick's previous relationship, I can see Hood saying that to him...but then who would be the other one?
Brainstorm folks. Who would be a likely duo coming face to face with Hood? Advocates? of what?
Every idea I come up with I immediately shoot down.

Clearly the one death is Mallick Rel, since we've already established that Pallor is evil.
As for the 2 from the sig...
Tays and QB
or...
Topper and Toc Elder. (Ok, maybe not)

re: Pallor's sig - i go with Telorast and Curdle.
Re: Pallor's brainz - Apt has maintained the demand quite nicely in my abyssence.
re: deaths - oh, it is WIDE open. But for true gut-punch level shock... hmmm.... i'd have to go with Fiddler.
- Abyss, was gone, back now. And hungry. For spoilers, of course.

Fiddler cannot die. He is unkillable. Even Karsa's sword cutting him in half wouldn't kill him. Fiddler would just fiddle with himself until he became re-attached. And that's a fact.
The shocking, gut-wrenching death will be Tavore's. Betcha.
