The Manchester derby is on this weekend, and we need to win. Citeh have actually done quite well over the last couple of seasons, but Rooney, Smith and co. need put their shooting boots on so we aren't reliant on Ruud so much.
I love how pathetic the Gunners are in Europe. Chelsea look good enough to do the double- Jose has worked wonders at Stamford Bridge, I hate to admit.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't go. I doubt he'll want to come back from Euro as top scorer just to warm the bench behind Owen and Cisse.

My sister was a steward at that match... pretty good pay apparently. Was there any crowd disturbance?
I only saw the first half hour, but I was impressed by quite a few of the Polish players. Wales are pretty much out of contention now for qualifying - they've lost two games that they should have been hoping to get at least 2 points out of to have a chance of getting to Germany. Then again, you never know what could happen yet. We could have another attacking performance like against Azerbaijanihoscxz *sobs*
Roberto Carlos occasionally defends very well. For exapmle, against Deportivo (i think) a few weeks ago, as soon as he came on the defence strengthened up hugely, he was everywhere making important tackles. His problem is inconsistancy...

well, Mourinho did say he only wanted 21 players plus goalies... seems to be living up to his word so far, and to be honest, they don't need them really

Looks like two nice balanced squads. Can't remember mine but i think its kinda crap. Good defence but crap up front.
Newcastle pulled off a great move by getting steve carr today. I might be a bit biased but he is a class act. It's a bad sign for spurs if a guy like carr is getting the hell outta dodge.
Reyes looked very sharp against MU at the wkd, could be an ominous sign for the season ahead,on the other hand smith looked good as well. should be great season
