Lol I know the commentators pee me off too, they are always totally biased (and of course, they are mostly english on english TV) towards the british. Not just with footie too it really pees me off in tennis with Henman and F1 with Button , saying that he is in the same league as Michael Schumacher, whatever .
And I don't think we were out played otherwise they would have won in normal or extra time. They piled on the pressure we defended our asses off as normal, we still made chances and well we lost in penalties. . . It is our fate forever .
Yeah the Holland - Sweden Match does promise to be a good game. I hope the Dutch win. Just don't like Larssen or Sweden, never did never will (When they beat Romania in Quarter Finals in '98 in sudden death penalties !!!!!!!!!!!!)

that first goal by rooney was bloody terrific! think he really showed the skill that lives in him by hitting that ball the way he did. and this is comming from a liverpool fan.

I think Drogba and Kezman in particular are going to do really well in england. Both are quick and powerful. Drogba is a real character with a great work ethic, just like Mutu. Chelsea have the best in depth talent in the league when it comes to strikers.
Can't wait for the chelsea united game on the first dy of the league, should be a classic.

dude, what a load of crap. the bondesliga players is the most selfish bastards you can come across, and I heard this from a football player who's played in norway, denmark and england in addition to germany (gods, what was his name?!). he even said there was some borderlining sabotage if there was some competition for the spot on the team.
and the fact that there is loads of money circuling in a few leagues just makes the best players migrate to them, naking them the best leagues. besides, you can hardly bring up the money issue these days. most teams are on a verge of bankrupsy (I have no idea if you spell it that way, and I'm too lazy to find out). what more, alcoholism died with the leaving of gazza and rudduck, so don't give me that sh!te now. you're living in the past, mate.
and finally, you can edit your post if you feel like adding something you may have forgotten.

I think it will be very interesting watching the essentially unproven Drogba and Kezman settle into the Premiership- both did really well last year in France and the Netherlands respectively, and Drogba also in Europe, but I'm not sure if they can live up to the expectations.
Letting Crespo go to Milan was a bigger mistake than letting Hasselbaink go, imho...

Well I think the season is pretty much tied up all ready for Ferrari to win and Schumacher to come top. But hope it doesn't get in the way of any good drives. I guess I'll miss the rest of the seaon cos i'll be in the USA .
