Their offensive play only rules against teams who aren't organised and don't have a tough defence with a midfield ready to get stuck in. Against PSV in Europe for example, they really had to toil for a win...

That was just an incredible turnaround if ever I saw one. Why David James decided to go for a two footed lunge rather than palm the ball away defies logic really.

....well 2 Ferraris, 2 BAR (with Sato starting third ) and 2 Williams on the front of the grid, should be an interesting race, fingers crossed for some overtaking, but not Barrichello...he deserves a win

same here. I playing at www.premierleague.com instead, but in a private league already!
Too bad for Robbie Keane and Sol Campbell, looks like they'll both miss the start of the Premiership campaign. Looking forward to seeing how Boro and Brum go this year, what with both Steve McLaren and Steve Bruce having made some decent signings and boosting their teams: Viduka, Hasselbaink, Reiziger and Parlour for Middlesbrough, while Birmingham got Gronkjaer, Melchiot, Heskey and Muzzy Izzet.

Anyone see the England game last night? England were awfull and acted like a buch of petulant kids when they realised they were up againsta better team. Rooney especially. But the worst thing was the crowd. The monkey noises made against the black English players was disgraceful.

try comparing forssel with cisse AND baros. two world class players. left us with pongolle, who hasn't played regularly since he was in the french first division, and kewel, who hasn't played a good match since he played in leeds. receip for evil (birmingham win), if you ask me.

I've gone the route of choosing complete donkeys for subs so that I can spend more money on my first team. Risky strategy if I get injuries but what the heck.

I thought the Canada comment would have been in your first reply, Gothos. Anyway, yah, Canada never makes the World Cup, I know. I really wish they would and I don't see why we can't field a great team as the youth soccer program in Canada has been excellent for the last 20 years at least. We would go nuts over here if we ever do make it back to the big show.

An interesting race for a while until I realised Ferrari had outwitted everyone again. A pity the Renaults went out, on a two stopper they could have challenged for the win perhaps. 7 wins out of 8 for Schumi, on this form Im really hoping Villeneuve makes a comeback next year. Another suberb drive by Fisichella, I hope he ends up at Williams for 2005. Fisi and Villeneuve - please Sir Frank, please?
