England 2- Austria 2...and this after Sven claims that England are still a power in world football. And keeps playing Calamity in goal.

Greece 2- Albania- 2...so much for the might of the European champions.

France 0- Israel- 0...and yet again Henry fails for the national team.

I'm disgusted to see this thread so far down!!!

Any predictions for the world cup qualifiers tomorrow? The Poland - Austria match should probably be the pick of our group's games... though obviously I'm more interested in the England - Wales gamePosted Image

getting rid of Mauricco Tarrico was the best move we ever madePosted Image Naybet and King are looking rock solid, and Edman and Pamarot are damn good backup for themPosted Image

ARSEnal's problem is the same as Liverpool's. ie. They can't play in Europe. simplePosted Image
Mancy played very well last year to beat them in the FA cup, but they were lucky too. Well, at least it's possiblePosted Image Wouldn't it be so sweet if Palace end ARSEnal's un-beaten recordPosted Image

Its OK- our horrid run with injuries and whatnots will soon be coming to an end: Keane, Ferdinand, Brown, Heinze, RVN are all due to come back into the first team over the next few weeks, and then the ManU juggernaut will start rolling...

Can't wait for Champions League to start, the Roma vs. Real clash has my mouth-watering already...

Gamet, oohhhhh Gamet- where are ya ol' buddy? Hearts ehh? A real force in the SPL no doubt, mate, turning your Bhoys over at Celtic Park.

*deflects attention from another morale-sapping draw by ManU*- ohhh, and anyone catch the Bowyer-Dyer brawl at the Villa-Toon match? Hohoho, haven't seen anything more amusing since the Michael got called a midget and told to go lick Beckham's boots...last week!

well liverpool start off the season with a draw, sould have won though. Cisse has got the ideal start to his premiership career and gerrard was really impressive. Could be a good season after all for the scouser's

That is what I'm afraid of- one awesome game against a less-than-quality Turkish side does not a champion career make. But, I think that Rooney will be the goods as he has shown the potential in Euro 2004 and with Everton last season, and he will be no one-game wonder in the red of ManU.

Oh- and Arsenal continue to suck in Europe...

Speaking of Brazil- they are so gonna win the WC in 2006. They won 5-2 in their qualifier against Venzeuela, with AC Milan star Kaka scoring two, Ronaldo scoring two and Inter Milan star (and the next Ronaldo) Adriano scoring as well. Oh, and I believe someone called Ronaldinho had a pretty good game too Posted Image...

Samba Kings to win it in 2006. You heard it here first, from me Posted Image

maybe, but they're better now... Bergkamp has found his form again, and Reyes is a touch of class. Not that I'm not praying for you to catch upPosted Image I just think Chelsea have a much more realistic chance...
