is tamber the destriant of treach. mortal sword is gruntle and most likely stormy is the sheild anvil as thats what legna breed thinks. But the constant reference to her eyes been like a tigers or lions and her taking out of a few score claw. she was stabed bout 50 times and still kept goin.

yeh i know she dead and i admit i rushed the end and didnt really under stand the eres turning up. but i thought all the references to lions eyes might have been a reference. i mean heboric was dead. and we know treach just picks them without telling them (like stormy)

Where do you get this stuff? T'amber was being directly used by the Eres'al who helped the Fourteenth all through the book. Nothing to do with Treach.

And how do you know Stormy was the Shield Anvil of Treach and not another god? Heboric himself says (I'll admit, very opaquely) that he was the Treach's Shield Anvil all along during whatever it was that happened as the meteors/statue pieces fell on the Otataral Isle.

Heboric is dead, however, which would necessitate the choosing of another Shield Anvil to replace him. I suspect Stormy will belong to a different god, however.

I'm not convinced Heboric is finished. We heard his thoughts long after he bought it, and his remains clearly had some important effect on the falling Jade Giant.

Plus, his corpse appeared on one of Fiddler's cards.

Most importantly, when we hear his thoughts at the Isle, he muses on how Treach had to die (in MoI, at the hands of K'ell Hunters) to fully ascend to godhood. Perhaps now that he has died he will become something new, in a manner akin to Treach.

There is no way in hell Stormy has anything to do with Treach. All the descriptions of Stormy has been like two other animals - a bear or a boar. Big. Small eyes. Sudden rage. Seemingly lenient etc. I know that Fener is down, but I won't be surprised if he's not done.

Shield Anvils take the suffering of souls upon themselves, and Itkovian carried the souls of tens of thousands of people. What if Stormy is carrying Fener, transferred to him by Heboric back in DG?
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Correct me if I am wrong, but i always had the impression that fener is somehow IN stormy..its in DG when Heboric tries to heal stormy's broken leg, and something passes from Heboric to Stormy, i always felt that was Fener, after all, he did get called down by Heboric...crazyness

Is there really a difference between that and what I said?

Don't worry about it.
But, can you be a SA of a god if you're holding your god's soul?

I love that idea, Fener hiding with the troops once sworn to him.

But what lies ahead for him? I don't see him regaining his place in the pantheon, with Trake, Togg and Fanderay filling that spot, there shouldn't be any vacancies any time soon. And without his position as God of War and the loss of his earthly power structure, what is he good for?

Well the new House is the House of War..
surely there'd be room for him still?

Heh, that comment has drawn out my crazy theory on fener and the house of war... we know from Paran's Deck that the chief card of the new house of war is the card of the "Lords of War", Paran thought this was confusing as it was occupied by Togg and Fanderay one of whom is female and clearly NOT a lord, but what if the real occupents of the card are Togg and Fener, twin gods of war, and Fanderay is just filling in till Fener gets his act together and comes back with a bang in book 10.

Oh and Stormy is almost certainly Fener's shield anvil, and definitely not Treach's.

sure.. but the Lords of war could be all of them and that's why it's not important that throne is empty for the moment..they re working together.. Treach has to be in that house somewhere too :p and I agree re : Stormy

Treach has another lesser position in that house, so im still plumbing for fenner and togg occpying that throne by the end of the series.
