Hmmm, Sorry/Apsalar is a tad older, has black hair and is Asian..at least in my mind anyway.

ummm, that girl looks about 10 years old. Although I suppose since she's supposed to look innocent while really being a brutal killer, that pic might make sense...

I was thinking black hair too. The girl above reminds me a little of Gaiman's Delirium.

I dunno... I never saw her being Asian, but she always did have black hair, and wasn't that young...

I always think of her as asian because she comes from the far away fishing village of Ito Kan, that sounds pretty asian to me 
She clearly has black hair tho' and Whiskeyjack says shes 17 when hes talking to Lorn in that bar.

I see what you mean. And if I recall where Itko Kan is, most people around that place are darker skinned anyways aren't they?

Apsalar - from subtropical region of Itko Kan, and we also know Kanease blood changes eyes somewhat.

And Apsalar is described as having "tilted" eyes, as well as dark black hair.
So, some type of Asian - I'm thinking a look that ultimately comes out half-Japanese, half-Caucasian.

Erikson uses elements from our history in his novels, who doesn't, but he's not as obvious as Feist, who blatantly copies. Even the Map looks strangely europe like.
