Currently reading Fleshmarket Close by Ian Rankin.

Previously read Iron Council - the not so little engine that could.

Finished David Mitchell's 'Cloud Atlas'- a hard book to wrap one's mind around, but definitely worth the effort.

Gave up on Anson Cameron's 'Confessing the Blues', because my time is too precious to be spent wading through books like these.

Now about to start on Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson's 'The Illuminatus Trilogy'.

Can't wait to get back home and pick up GOTM and DG, cos then I'll be able to start on them again. Should keep me occupied (what with Otherland and all) until BH comes out!

Just finished American Gods and my mind is baffled (it easily is...hmmm, nevermind). That was such a good book and I am glad that I now know why you guys have such high praise for said book. Posted Image

I am now starting to read Desolation Angels by Jack Kerouac. Read some of his other stuff earlier and really digged it, espeacially On the Road. Posted Image

Ottakars are a fine store. I like the little free SF and Fantasy review mags they give away.

Perhaps Brood can order all our books ?

reading mein kampf, i figured everyone should read it, if not to just see how hitler managed to inspire the whole nation. the scariest thing is when you read it it makes sense what he says about the social policy and most of the early politican ideas in the book, before he starts the whole anti-everyone stuff.

evil book, but nesasary to read.
